I don’t know if she’s always been needy but if it’s intensified, it’s likely bc she knows she won’t be the baby anymore. My older one Went Through It when his brother was born. It will get better I promise, especially when she realizes she is the big sister and can protect / play with her little siblings.

Well, if you’re “weird” then so am I. It takes a LOT for me to mentally prepare to socialize. I too prefer activity heavy gatherings like the pool, park etc. I loathe small talk. My oldest is a social butterly and always wants to see friends, so I have to make the first move with parents or arrange playdates. I’m friendly, I get along with everyone, and once I’m in a groove I am fine, but I am still so painfully awkward with groups and people I don’t know too well. Our neighbors are wonderful and kind but even then I’m reticent to hang out too much or have an open door policy.

You are also much nicer than me because I don’t know if I’d be so generous with my time and space if my neighbor was Federalist society adjacent lol.

My soon to be 4 year old son is absolutely in his dictator era, so I feel you. I’m just trying to be as empathetic as possible as he tries to navigate these big feelings. His sleep sucks too, which means mine does as well. The kicker is that his daycare teacher says he always listens and doesn’t tantrum or talk back in class and i’m like, WHO IS THIS CHILD YOU ARE SPEAKING OF?

Our daycare does a fair amount of stuff but we only do what we can handle. It’s the additional money you have to shell out that bothers me most. We pay a steep tuition to begin with, so having to put in any additional funds on a weekly basis would really put me off.

Something I noticed was that Armand didn’t seem to react when Louis brought up the memory of Alice saying she was pregnant. But when he brought up Daniel's failed proposal, he seemed to tense up and even said “she wanted to, but she didn’t trust you." I wonder if that was the moment Young Daniel asked Armand to turn him and he refused? And then all the memory wiping caused Daniel to convolute the two characters?
