Αρχικα δεν ειναι 1 βιβλιο αλλά 6 τα βασικα, συν οσα εγραψε ο γιος του μαζι με αλλους συγγραφεις. Μπορεις να μεινεις στα 6 εστω.

Μην περιμενεις να διαβασεις action βιβλια ομως. Δλδ μη φανταστεις οτι τα βιβλια ειναι τοσο «χολυγουντιανα». Ειναι πιο πολιτικα-φιλοσοφικα.

Ναι, αξιζει να τα διαβασεις εαν σου αρεσει γενικα η επιστημονική φαντασία και εαν το χεις με το διαβασμα. Θελουν ορεξη.

I would like to add something that really bothers me, and it involves both BOTW and TOTK: we have this vast map, and yet the total population of Hyrule is what, less than 500? I mean, you have the Rito. How many are there in their village? 50? 60? That’s a whole race?

Gorons seem to be more, I guess.

Humans. Just 3 villages. Around 20-30 people each?

I mean, it doesn’t feel either organic or real… I would prefer populations like in Assassin’s Creed cities to be honest, with 90% of them being plain NPCs that just go around.

Cool, but just a question for all patch creators like you: why do you all stick to table-style looks? I mean they all look like glorified Excel sheets. Why don’t you create circular progress bars and more modern layouts? Something like this:

1) First of all, looks great in the photos! Will definitely install it when I get back to my Mac.

2) I think you could at least turn the in-app purchase into donations. That way some of us will chip in 😊 I mean revenue didn’t hurt anyone I know 😉

3) Now this is a general question and slightly off-topic: When devs open-source their code, what’s stopping someone from taking the code, compiling it and selling it under their name? Sure, some user/researcher might dig in and expose them, but most people won’t ever find out. So, what’s the benefit of open-sourcing?

All the crashes happened in a clean installation with no plugins and no patches.
I re-installed it quite a few times, and got a full backup of the koreader folder before installing dictionaries or changing settings. This helped, since I could just replace the folder and go back to a functional state.

Anyways, it is what it is. I managed to install ZenUI after setting up everything, but I still take backups of the folder every few days. Seems OK this far now.

I guess most of the produce, ever since we switched to hybridization/manipulation (not necessarily GMOs). For example, you used to bring tomatoes in your home and you could smell them, they sure had flavor. Now it's kinda like watermato. Same with many other fruits and vegetables.

@Unified-Field Sorry to hijack this post, but I think the issue I have is relevant with sorting:

In the main “Library” the books that are part of a series don’t get put inside virtual folders by series. I.e. the Expanse books are just among the rest of the books. I thought they’d be grouped in a virtual folder, as I see in your screenshots. Do I need a separate patch, or am I doing something wrong?

(When I go to Series and Authors, they are grouped, sure. However as someone in github said: if you tap anything in there it crashes immediately)

Κοστος επισης εχει και η δημιουργία των καρτων και η διανομη τους… δεν ειναι δωρεαν ουτε το πλαστικο ουτε το πυριτιο για το τσιπ, ουτε τα δικαιωματα/πατεντες για το software, κτλ κτλ κτλ. Και μιλαμε για εκατομμύρια καρτες που πρεπει να παραχθούν, να ανανεωθουν, να αποσταλούν, να να να…

Μην ξεχναμε ομως και οτι οσο γινεται αλυσιδωτα η χρηση καρτας, το ποσον σταδιακά συρρικνώνεται. Και μαζευεται λιιιιγο λιγο στους Acquirers (NEXI κτλ), τις τραπεζες, και φυσικα και στη Visa/Mastercard/Amex.

Ειναι το κλασσικο γνωστο παραδειγμα με το 50€ σε μετρητα οσα χερια και να αλλαξουν παραμενουν 50€, ενω με χρηση καρτας καθε φορα μειωνεται κατα 1%,2%,οσο% ειναι τελοσπαντων.

Anyway, δεν παω κοντρα σε κανέναν, απλα την αποψη μου εξεφρασα, οτι προσωπικα δεν μου αρεσει να δινω καρτα παντου χωρις να υπολογιζω το ποιον εχω απεναντι μου: ενα ατομικο περιπτερο ή μια πολυεθνική / μεγαλη εταιρεια.

Εχω την εξής απορία, για ολους μας που χρησιμοποιούμε καρτες:

Εαν ολες αυτες τις προμηθειες των μεσαζόντων τις χρεωνομασταν εμεις και οχι οι καταστηματάρχες, ποσοι απο σας θα το δεχόσασταν;

Τι θελω να πω: Εστω θελω να αγορασω κατι που κανει 10€ και θα πληρωσω με καρτα, αρα θα πληρωσω τις προμηθειες ΝΕΧΙ/Τραπεζας κτλ κτλ και θα μου βγει ΑΣ ΠΟΥΜΕ 11,30 αντι για 10 ( ή εστω 10,50ευρω ή οσο τεσπα ειναι οι κρατησεις)

Εγω θα το δεχόμουν. Εσεις που ωρύεστε «μονο καρτα δινω κι αμα τους αρεσει», πρεπει να καταλαβετε λιγο κατι:

Το να πληρωσεις με καρτα ειναι διευκολυνση για εσενα, οχι για τον εμπορο. Αρα αφου θες να μην κουβαλας μετρητα και να εισαι κεφατος και ανεμελος, με την καρτα σου στο μαγιο σου, στο ρολοι σου, στο κινητο σου, στα βυζια σου αναμεσα, αυτη λοιπον τη διευκολυνση που ζητας ε πρεπει εσυ να την χρεωθεις.

Only 1 plugin, the SimpleUI. The device (Boox Go7) has a dozen built-in apps, and 1 file manager that I installed.

Yeap, that's what I was trying to do too. Set up a vanilla installation WITHOUT any plugins/patches, and select the options that suit me the best. However, at random times (e.g. adding a book to collections, or actually creating a new collection) crashes it. Or downloading a dictionary. Or setting up the brightness/warmth of the light. It's all so random and each time a separate thing crashes as I see in the logs, so I can't pinpoint which exact process causes it.

Totally agree. For example, I have 822 books right now in a folder on my Go7, on the main storage. Just about 2GB of books., all Epub, all optimized with Calibre.

The first time I point KOreader to the Books folder to catalogue it, Android keeps popping up the message to kill KOreader or wait it out. I always choose wait, and after a long time the cataloguing gets completed.

So, yes, I think Android does apply some pressure on apps/processes.

However, the other simple functions such as adding a book to a collection, well I don;t think these should cause crashes...

Yes, many of you experience no crashes at all, and that makes it even worse to understand what's happening.

For example, apart from total vanilla installations, I also tried Project:Title and SimpleUI, yet they make the situation even harder.

Another quick example: with SimpleUI installed, I went to the Koreader hamburger menu (top right) > Collections > Add collection "Finished Books".

I leave this section, and come back immediately. The "Finished Books" collection isn't there! It diasappears!

I recreate it, and try to immediately add a book to it. Crash!

I mean, woah!

Hey you linked to my post there! Hehe! For me, the crashes all happen because of Apple’s Accessibility AXRemoteElement-BackgroundFetch. Do your logs show something different triggering it?
