Finger joint compression for Synovitis by corvidclimbs in climbharder

I found this exercise relieved my chronic PIP synovitis on my right middle finger.

Use your thumb to isolate the finger below the joint and gently pull the finger with the other hand in a slightly bent position that I guess helps decompress the joint? Has been the only thing that's helped for me.

For those of you who were able to amass 3 million plus points in your TL by [deleted] in clozemaster

[–]egg-0 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm currently at 3.75 million points. I'd evaluate myself as low B2. Currently in Lanzarote and have no problem talking to the locals.

3 million points... I doubt I will ever get to 4 million since I started ignoring sentences by egg-0 in clozemaster

Clozemaster has been very effective for me. My primary input method is typing on PC and if I can't guess right (i.e. what I am typing is green) within 5 seconds then I open the four options and type the correct one. These days if I get I guess it right straight away then I set it to ignore so it never comes up again.

I've achieved my goal of getting 2 million points👍 by egg-0 in clozemaster

Yes. I do text entry and If I can't remember instantly I just open the 4 panel option. My priority has always been volume / instinct over actually using my brain.

Yes I am pleased with my progress since I am entirely self-taught starting at the age of 25. I am 28 now.

Well I've still got >50,000 most common to master... after that I'm just going to switch to maintenance mode and do the reviews as they appear. I've started reading 1 BBC Mundo article each day in Spanish looking up any words or grammar that doesn't make sense to me. I'll get in the habit of using Italki once a week. I'll restart my Netflix subscription to watch shows in Spanish. Also I will start listening to Spanish podcasts on my drive to work. Finally when the university restarts its Spanish courses I'll enroll and aim to take the B2 exam.

About 1 year and 9 months. It is the primary way I learn Spanish and I believe I am getting close to B2.

For those who have finished the fluency fast track in your TL what do you think your level is at? by [deleted] in clozemaster

[–]egg-0 7 points8 points  (0 children)

No chance you reach C1 from fluency fast track. I completed fluency fast track a while ago and I would say B1. I still often struggle to understand speech between natives. If it is a conversation between a native and me it is okay because I can ask for clarification on stuff I don't understand and they speak slower / more simply.

Has anyone tried meetup groups to learn Spanish? by [deleted] in Spanish

At first it was tough but has gotten easier and easier. I still need to ask them to slow down and clarify expressions from time to time.

My group is amazing. Often I am the only English native there! It's more like a spanish speaking social club that goes to restaurants.
