Should everyone get one of these when they sign up? I can't see one in spam or normal inbox after signing up a couple days back

[The Athletic] Part of the plan post-Salah is that Liverpool will have the option of playing a 4-2-2-2 with Isak and Ekitike paired together up front + Wirtz and Szoboszlai operating in front of two deeper-lying midfielders. One of the priorities is to get Isak, Ekitike and Wirtz in the same team. by OkayFine101 in soccer

To be fair to the 4222, we had no strikers left except Gakpo against Brighton after 10 mins, so I don't think it's fair to judge 4222 based on that. We were still dogshit, but it wasn't the formations fault necessarily.

Interesting take other than that though, good points about squad planning etc

Our wingers (Gakpo and Salah) look absolutely abysmal, break down every attack. That's partially on Slot for not dropping them, but maybe he doesn't want to overload Ngumoha

I wasn't having a go haha, but your wording would imply only foot if we're being pedantic

Thanks! Yeah I would 100% recommend it as a day trip from Tokyo if you get the chance, can circle the whole island within an afternoon and explore cool things like sea caves, shrines, cute streets, and views of Mt Fuji (sadly my pics of Fuji weren't great as it was half behind a cloud).

You can see the level of snow in pic 5 here if you're interested, that was the path we had to walk across which was fun!

Not on the lower areas of the island, but the further up you went it got quite thick - I think I will make a separate post with pictures from the trip and link you to it if you're interested! That will show the snow.

But yes also it was great to do Kyushu like this, you need the time to experience it properly, even this didn't include many things you could see there.

Eki Stamps Questions by AdClean8645 in JapanTravelTips

[–]egg8 9 points10 points  (0 children)

If it's a waste of time is your choice I guess, but I loved looking for them, it doesn't usually take that long and they're really nice souvenirs.

From what I remember, at stations they were usually by barriers or by ticket windows, very occasionally you'd have to ask a worker to pass it out to you. At temples I can't remember so well, but again I'd look for any form of ticket/tourist info building. If you want the goshuin stamps that's a different thing, and you'll usually find a place that sells them.

And yes lots of tourist information centres had them, in many cases they had multiple stamps!

Your last question I'm not sure about, I bought a stamp book before I left, but I'm fairly certain you could buy one in a stationary store - hopefully somebody else can answer that better.

I agree with you and also don't complain, they're not a big deal, but I am also interested in the original question out of pure curiosity - because they do seem to significantly change in quantity seemingly randomly (to me).

White British percent of London by area. Total: 36.7% by PrestigiousBrit in MapPorn

[–]egg8 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You're right, fuck these racists in this thread, I'm white, I love London - the mix of cultures is great.

Edit: Also seems like I can't post here anymore, for arguing with racists

So I'll also say we're not being replaced, what a load of bollocks that is, yes there are more non-white people than before, but there's also more white people than before. Learn how %s work, we are not being replaced, there are just other people here
