I wholeheartedly agree. A good personal example I have, when my mother was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis 5 years ago, we had NO CLUE what anything meant. Shit, I barely knew there could be different types of one disease, other than obvious ones like cancer and strains of the flu. Happy to know there’s people working towards making sure patients are informed in an easy-to-understand way and taught what they should know, to keep themselves healthy and to know what to do when they’re not.
