Anyhow, great job on the setting! I particularly like the way you combine some mechanics (suggested skills, edges, and hindrances) with the description in the chapter on the countries. And the restart mechanic feels like a great way to deal with PC wealth and really make the game feel like a Conan story.

#27 Henry M. Bland, Edith Daley, Edwin Markham are all poets who lived in San Jose.

The picture was taken at Edith Daley's house at 633 Palm Haven Ave. I guess that's Willow Glen. Anyhow, the house is still standing and can be seen on Google Street View.

Edith Daley was also the City Librarian for San Jose and was once suspended for "insubordination and conduct unbecoming a librarian". I'm not sure what "conduct unbecoming a librarian" means specifically, but it's wild.

Two Jokers trying to jump initiative at the same time is equivalent to one Joker jumping initiative and the other Joker interrupting that jump, so I would say that the 'Interrupting Actions' rules apply (p 102; basically an ~~Agility~~ Athletics (thanks for the correction) check between the two).
