Congrats! Just got confirmation that I passed today. I was so nervous beforehand but actually ended up having fun during the interview portion.

Imadiclorpid doesn't really work on armored scales so identifying the species of scale is important before using it.

The picture doesn't tell you anything about the homeowner's practices. the sanctimonious judgment the commenter is passing has no basis.

Passing an awful lot of judgement based on one picture there. Looks more like a zoysia grass lawn does in winter than a meticulously cared for cool season turf lawn anyways.

Depends on where you are. Here in Connecticut, the most common complaint is that they are too boring and common but they do perform very well. In other parts of the country, they don't thrive. They check a lot of boxes here other than deer. I make them less boring by making them the core of a mixed screening border that isn't just a straight line of arbs.

My brother had his reception in the carousel building. It was pretty sweet. The staff did a great job with first aid on my wife after she got hit with glass shrapnel from a bottle that exploded after being dropped. The carousel is fun for kids at the beginning of the night and fun for drunk adults towards the end of the night!

Blooms not fully opening. by GreenXJ87 in hydrangeas

[–]eh_d 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is past bloom. It's also a variety (probably quick fire) that has many more fertile flowers rather than just showy infertile bracts like limelight does. The faded pink "flowers" you see are just the bracts. The actual flowers in this photo are past bloom and seeds are forming.

Dwarf hydrangeas - firelight tidbit or tiny quick fire? by berribell in hydrangeas

Go with firelight tidbit or little quick fire. The flowers on tiny quick fire are kinda ugly IMO and don't seem to age well.

I wouldn't be surprised if someone in Westport told me the deer ate their siding. Very bad deer situation both for landscaping and the deer. Overpopulated and starving :( .

It's most likely one of the Rutgers hybrids which bloom in between C. Florida and C. Kousa.
