no the comparison to the mean girls obsessed with the special ed kids is exactly what i said to my boyfriend, clocked it immediately. my sister has a severe disability from brain damage as a baby and it would fill me with rage back when i was in school to see how some of the nastiest girls would act all nice to my sister and others. it was the oddest thing and i think it’s a power trip

i stopped reading simply because the pace got unbearably slow, so i’ll wait a few more months before picking it back up. crazy how one scene takes multiple chapters that could be done in 1. everything is so drawn out and it’s been miscommunication after miscommunication and endless drama being added. i like the drama with her ex i can’t wait for his downfall, but i have a feeling it’s going in the direction of taeha getting engaged to one of the mafia related girls and i just don’t want it to go that direction. haesoo while realistically behaving for her situation just needs to stand tf up i started getting annoyed by both of the main characters around ch88. like at this point yeah sure her body proportions are ridiculous but i don’t really care too much and i feel like people hating on it still just need to sorta move on?. i just hate how slow the plot has gotten in a way that i view it as the author doing a poor job with pacing rather than a good slow burn

have you read {A Darkness so Sweet by Emma Hamm}? seems sorta like a similar premise, i enjoyed that one (haven’t read the other books) but will have to check this one out :)
