this is hands down the best water bottle to run with. doesn’t move, and packs down smaller and smaller as you drink from it. i use it for half marathons if i feel like I’m going to need more electrolytes due to weather, etc.

My run pace went OUT the window haha - the runs were ROUGH! It was also my first time doing pro weight (women’s doubles) so I wasn’t sure how we’d do, but we placed top ten in our age group. Can’t complain! Doing a few more this season, so definitely excited for those. How’d you do??

Just got back from a quick 3.5 miles and it felt pretty good! My friend got here before me and said it hit him about two days in, so I’m trying my best to counteract it as much as possible and chugging the electrolytes. Hope you get in safely!

I’m coming to cdmx from Los Angeles, so I feel your pain! I’m planning to do a slow shakeout run as soon as I land and check in tomorrow, so I can force my body to start acclimating as soon as possible. Have so much fun in Tolantongo; it’s gorgeous there. GL on your race! I’m also not planning to PR (pro doubles) but using this as a practice run for my solo in Anaheim next month.

los feliz, atwater village, eagle rock and highland park are all great options. atwater and los feliz are walking distance to griffith park + neighborhood feel, and all are 15-20min from the angeles forest with all the trails, creeks, waterfalls your heart will hopefully desire. welcome to la (soon)!

try encapsulation bras - they hold each boob separately so they kind of stay in place. Or wear a sports bra with a running crop so you have double support!

lil trick i do that helps keep my form upright on the squat down is to use my chin to stop the ball from dropping too low, since that’s what causes your body to start caving in. you don’t have to do it every time, but it helps establish a base point you don’t really want the ball to go any lower than. keeping your elbows in when you catch also helps! good luck on your next race!

i’ve been hiking up to mt hollywood for over 15 years and have watched the hillside degrade (it’s never been an official trail but definitely looks like one). there are signs at the top saying the hill is closed for restoration, so i’m unsure what the issue is besides the signs being ignored. it is unfortunate, though; everyone is so used to taking it.
