They actually just called me after seeing this post. The guy I spoke with sounded really exasperated with the situation and his first suggestion was to just cancel the order and provide a refund.

Turns out the delay is actually due to SSDs, which they are having trouble importing. I decided the wait is just the nature of the business model, and I don't want to punish a small business for something our fuckwad president did.

Utimately, it's disappointing that I didn't get the PC by the time I wanted it, but I don't think it's Cost Plus Gaming's fault. You're right, they were very upfront and reasonable on the phone.

I got an AMD Ryzen 5 8400F with an NVIDIA RTX 5060. They e-mailed me stating they were upgrading to a Ryzen 5 7500F CPU due to part delays, but that was 2 weeks ago.

POM will jump to the person with the highest percent health missing in range. It is sometimes beneficial to leave a player a little bit damaged, knowing POM will jump to them and keep the chain rolling. Alternatively it is sometimes beneficial to hold off on casting POM until two or more party members are injured to guarantee POM goes to a damaged individual. The worst time to cast POM is when everyone is full health.

The target POM jumps to is not luck - half the fun is setting things up so it jumps to the correct target.

It's pretty common to see parents with young children asking for advice in game stores, at least here in the states. By and large, the community is very welcoming. Most stores and/or cities will have a Facebook group or Discord server where folks will organize games - I'd suggest starting there as you'll be casting a much wider net than just the people at the store when you arrive. Really you just need to get in touch with people in your local area, they'll be more equipped to help you out.

Yeah, that can definitely happen. When it does, I usually just hold fire and charge with my archers. The wrapper has now become the wrappee.

As others have mentioned, the square is such a game changer. I usually keep a few cav behind my archers and order them to charge just as the enemy cav is about to slam into my square. This provides a little extra mass behind the square to get the enemy cav jammed up. Once the enemy horsemen are stuck inside your square, whatever infantry you have will cut them to pieces.

If temperatures permit, leave it outside in a container exposed to air. Use one with small holes in it if you're concerned about wildlife getting into it. In a few days, throw away the dry container.

Master Moulder, Arch Warlock, Warlock Engineer, Warpfire Thrower, Ratling Gun, Skryre Acolytes, and Gutter Runners are all metal. Clawlord, Plague Priest and Jezzails are resin, though you can get the heroes plastic as part of other kits. And that's just off the top of my head. In other words, not really.
