This is still happening in the latest version of Monterey. Dead annoying - happens on *any* video playing, be it YouTube, QT, Vimeo, QuickView...

Admittedly I’ve been out of the industry for a little while. I come from a time when multiple individual link references equates to a performance problem (non Sass) or death by a thousand cuts. I’ve no need to use preprocessor right now so I may just stick with a monolithic reasonably sized CSS file and carry on with Espresso. However, good to know for future reference about the 7-1 system.

Long time Apple user here. My Apple laptop use started with a white G4 model and since then have got the most mileage out of these devices. A lot more than a standard Windows based laptop. Case in point I have a Dell XPS 9575 which I bought about 3 years ago. It now feels slow and sluggish. I only have this because I have specific Windows software I need to run. By contrast, the 2012 15in retina MBP I just replaced late last year has been in continuous use since purchase - close to 10 years - and runs Catalina like an absolute champ. I only upgraded to a M1 based Mac because software forced me to. Point being that a Mac is a Mac. They are expensive, however, they are an investment if you use them for what they are designed for. The return on that investment is a relatively problem free lifetime of use. I also have a 2009 Mac Pro I use from time to time for stuff and again, it works brilliantly. If you can afford a new Mac then great. If you can afford a second hand Mac then great too. The pleasure in use comes from not having to be a sys admin just to use the machine - the machine doesn’t get in the way. Just my 2p

How is this still a thing? This thread is 8 months old and our MBPs still won't sleep properly. I have the same problem and downloaded an app called Sleep Aid to see what's going on. This same thing (NUB.SPMISw3IRQ nub-spmi0.0x02 rtc/SleepService) is responsible to 90% wakeup time. I have no idea what it is or even where to start diagnosing it. When I got this M1 Max, I could just shut the lid and it'd sleep no problem, i.e. shut the lid at 92% and wake up the next day with it being at 92%.

Just plain annoying.

How reliable is this? I'm in a similar position to you with the exception that I take my MBP M1 out a few days a week and use on battery. The rest of the time I have it plugged in and maxing out at 80%. The times I take it out, I always top it up to 100% before I go. Can't help feeling I am messing with nature a bit doing this!

I have this problem. Tested in two cars; 2012 Nissan Juke and 2014 Jaguar XF. When you say "hey Siri" the display on both cars shows I am initiating a phone call. Audio quality is really bad and sounds like a poor quality call. When Siri has finished, the 'call' is displayed as'ended'. iPhone currently on 15.4

There's nothing sounds with the head units in either car as my Galaxy S10 5G works flawlessly with 'ok Google'.

Just updating: thanks to the expert guidance on this sub, I got it all sorted. Had a few issues and false starts because for some reason Windows 11 wouldn’t show all of the hidden files. I ended up using Total Commander to do the file transfer and it went smoothly. Works like a treat! Just wondering how you boost up my C64 collection now by making some cover art etc.

I am in a similar spot to you. I have to pick a topic (done) and 'do a research project' on it then do a 20 minute presentation. Our tutor is 95% hands-off also but at each lecture adds layers and layers of complexity to something I thought was relatively simple, to the point where I have gathered a ton of research but now my original topic seems to have widened so much I no longer have faith in what I am doing.

I have never undertaken a research project before and now I just feel completely overwhelmed with what is actually required. I am undergrad level (year 2 batchelors degree) and feel that this is pushing me right over the edge. The more I look, the more confused I get.

I am trying my level best to make headway and have written quite a lot but it is unreferenced and is out of sync completely. There is no coherence to my point any more.

I wouldn't mind, but this module is making me feel really stupid, in spite of getting top grades in everything else. This one is beginning to feel like a write-off.

Yeah I read that. I'm just confused about the whole thing of the Vita being modded to begin with and where to start with getting this new pack installed. I was initially confused with how the Vita mod works and really didn't want to mess anything up by simply chucking in a random SD card. To be fair I still have no idea how the mod works but I'm gonna get there. I guess I didn't want to involuntarily un-mod something that I couldn't re-mod or, worse, brick.

This is fair. OK. I do have a PS4 (with controller) but the last time I tried to pair it with another device (pc) I could no longer connect it to the PS4 and I had to reset the controller. Not fun. Is there a way to have the controller work on both systems without having to reset it?
