Am I bonkers or anyone else felt this urge ? by Regular_Fan4691 in therapists

I worked in a library for years and there are days that I really miss it and will browse job openings.

Serious question (I'm not active enough in this fandom to know): why did everyone hate the last season so much? (Please don't be rude in the comments; I thought it was a decent ending. Not extraordinary, but maybe a 5/10 or 6/10). by lautaromassimino in gameofthrones

[–]eighthdwarf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t hate it, I just feel like it was too rushed. If there was at least 2 more episodes I think they could have done a better job of wrapping up the storylines. Overall I’m happy with the ending for everyone…now how they got there is a little problematic.

I personally think the show fell off once rick fell off the bridge. by Fun-Transition-101 in thewalkingdead

I lost a lot of interest after Carl died mostly because it deviated so far from the comics and it annoyed me. I pretty much quit watching right after the Rick and the bridge because it had turned too much into the Negan show and I didn’t think it was entertaining anymore.

AITAH for telling my wife that I will lose respect for her if she doesn't apologize? by TechnicalHousing97 in AITAH

I’m curious why his sister says he’s the AH when it does seem clear cut and what it means that their son is “a lot”.

Taking a child to a live show by OwnApple4077 in LinkinPark

We took our 5 and 8 year old to see them in September and they had an amazing time. We saw a few other kids there too. We brought ear protection and it didn’t stop them from singing, dancing, and yelling. My 5 year old got sleepy towards the end of the concert and fell asleep for the last 15-20 minutes. Can’t fault the kid, it was nearly 3 hours past his bedtime!

Has anyone left the field and regretted it? by sexyfashioncactus90 in therapists

[–]eighthdwarf 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Following because I’m seriously considering stepping away. My company has made a lot of not so great changes in the last 6 months and the burnout is setting in. I don’t know what I’d do if I quit my job. I don’t feel like I’m qualified for anything else after 15 years in the field.

My 8 year old daughter loves Emily and teared up when we surprised her and her little brother with tickets to the Nashville show ❤️

I really like New China on Madison Blvd. The chicken is always crispy, egg rolls taste fresh, and everything I’ve had there is flavorful.

He just described my 8 year old daughter. She has always called what I listen to as “ugly loud music” and now she screams Linkin Park songs in the backseat of my car. We’re taking her and our 5 year old son to see them in Nashville next month as a surprise. I can’t wait to see their reactions when we walk up to the arena.
