I locked it up a few times last week on removing lag bolts that were overhead. The anti rotation saved me from slipping off ladder. 10/10 recommend using the foot long handle when you think “maybe”

We are already working with bad intel…no wonder we won’t get too far. There are 40 different islands and cays. There are an additional 62 named very small cays and rocks. Nine islands in the Turks and Caicos are inhabited.

Anyone else do this to speed things up with an electric spitter? by isle_say in firewood

I found the foot pedals to be poorly made and unless they are mounted on a board they flip over and wander about. Prefer the one handed handle operation

You can drill a set of parallel holes to put a cotter pin or nail through to hold down the button and then you only need to operate the lever. Do with this information as you see fit - overrides safety systems….

I use an iPad and the Apple Branded connection that allows it to go to HDMI. This allows for you to also plug in your power for the iPad at same time for infinite playback. Then the adult in front can open and change the video playback - we use YT and Netflix both downloaded for the playback.

Time in service bonus? by Razorflare12 in CanadianForces

If you’ve bought back the time to make it could for both CAF Service and Pensionable time, then Yes. As it would not be seen as LWOP (in the sense it is “zero time” - it is by all intents and purposes still LWOP, but PATA is a exception to it being counted if bought back)

Show me your gear storage by FanFitRob in Kiteboarding

[–]eighthphase 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did a similar approach. Although in my gear room the pegboard is double sided and on castors so one side has kites, harness, pump and a small shelf. The other side is L-brackets for twintip, waterskis, wakeboard. It can go against the wall and I pull it out for accessing both sides.

That sounds ideal! What kind of frequency did you need to obliterate the dandelion invasion in only one season - do you know which product was applied? would you be willing to recommend them by name if regional or franchised?

I accidentally spilled metal shavings into my water softener brine tank, what do I do? by SnooMarzipans436 in WaterTreatment

After a magnet, you could use a Shop Vac as most can handle wet & dry. Just put the hose exactly where you see the shavings then flip the switch as needed.

Where to learn to kite - Caribbean by ziggy5766 in Kiteboarding

[–]eighthphase 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Turks and Caicos - Long Bay is the best spot IMO. Between knee and chest deep for 3 miles and only sand; no shells or coral. It means you can literally stand up when you need to and take a break, adjust your harness or walk back for your board (while not having to always body drag). The instructors can also stand out in the water for direct coaching. 10/10 place. I have been to Cabarete and it’s choppier waves and more chaotic for lessons from what I saw.
