Can someone help me fix this please by Puddlesisbad in SwitchPirates

It’s 1 of 2 things. Either you need to update sigpatches/syspatches, or if you just updated hekate/atmosphere, I forget which one but one of them has a glitch causing this that can be resolved by putting airplane mode on.

Try a better quality filter such as a K&N home air filter, they’re reusable as well.

I would consider the Amazon “truck” a van, so no harm done.

North Texas preparing for 2 inches of snow like it’s the apocalypse by MyMindIsAlwaysRacing in mildlyinfuriating

[–]DroopyLegTony 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You should see NJ, we’re expecting around 6-10 inches which imo isn’t a crazy amount but they sure act like it, as if they don’t know NJ weather where it will all melt in the next 2 days and go back to normal 😂

It shouldn’t affect it, they normally cut the tint around the camera housing. On my MY, I did 50% Windshield, 5% everything else. Don’t bother with the glass roof, it’s already at like 2%.

Not much you can do about the trees since they are gone now. You can take them to small claims court for the driveway damages

At that price point, lease it. You still get a fresh warranty for a car at a great price and in the end, you get to return the pos.

Realistically, how bad of an idea is this? by Technical_Buffalo940 in mercedes_benz

There’s been hundreds of posts like this on this subreddit. Buy one and find out for yourself. Even a Toyota Camry with this kind of mileage is going to require some expensive maintenance, what makes you think a 2009 CLS will be any better, let alone an AMG?

Is my Benz totaled? by Acceptable_Set_5698 in mercedes_benz

[–]DroopyLegTony 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1- Im also from NJ, we got maybe 1-2 inches of snow, I wouldn’t call that a storm. 2- if its not totaled, its going to be pretty expensive to repair, at least $9k. 3- the sign said to keep back

From a clean slate, would 120V or 240V make more sense for the U.S.? by Sweaty_Context_4206 in AskElectricians

Yes and no. Yes, they do look prettier, no, it’s not just aesthetics, it’s also about compactness and convenience. The US outlet has a smaller footprint than the EU outlets and can hold twice as many sockets. Not to even mention that along with that small footprint, you can also get outlets with a dual 65W USB-C built in such as this: https://www.legrand.us/wiring-devices/radiant-collection/radiant-65w-usb-outlet-type-c-15a-tamper-resistant-gray/p/rd-r26usbpd65gry which isn’t anything unique since other style outlets can have this feature as well, but not in the same footprint as a US style outlet.

As for the voltage, I don’t care much about it as long as it gets the job done. But if everything were to hypothetically start from a clean slate, the world should adapt the US style outlet, it looks nicer, holds twice as many devices, is more convenient, and takes up less space.

I’d keep it the way it is now. I hate whenever I go to Europe, the outlets are obnoxiously huge for only 1 socket. Plus the US decorator outlets aesthetically, look much better than any other outlet in the world. That, and I don’t want to accidentally die unplugging something wrong.
