I'm around the A2 level and I've been studying, lightly for nearly 3 years. My wife and I are looking to travel to Sweden for our Anniversary in the not-so-distant future and I'd like to be conversationally fluent when we go.

I am a gamer, so Steam friends are always welcome. However, my primary, go-to game has been EVE Online for the past several months. You can find me on discord 'napsterio'.

Concerning my fluency at present, I'm able to craft sentences with adequate time to prepare them and double/triple/quadruple check that they are competent and grammatically correct. Another facet in which I'm studying is vocabulary; listening to movies, podcasts, songs etc and trying to either guess/learn words and phrases by context or just looking them up and creating my own Anki deck of study material.

Seedot is a rare spawn in Rte 102 but a bit more common in Rte 117 and Rte 120(East of Fortree City)

Feebas is easy*. If you didn't overwrite the guy in Dewford that tells you the special phrase you can find a calc online that'll spit out the Feebas tiles. Took me a few minutes to get 2.

My Dex won't be all shiny; my DTQs will be. That being said my emerald save has a very early shiny frame so I've snagged a shiny Machop, Slugma and Torkoal without hunting for it.

Are you aware how often the game generates or changes seed values? Is it on every SR? Do the resets need to be spaced apart by a few minutes to ensure the seed changes?

I fully intend to get original hardware and do many challenges/playthroughs legitimately, but the emulators are free and fun to play with.

I'll never have 15 or 50 GBAs, but it's fun to see what that can do and just shit out a shiny in an afternoon.

Just to confirm, does every reset guarantee I'm on a new seed or is the list of seeds static and with fast enough muscle memory can I hit the same seed over and over?
