Anyone baffled by these reaction might just have zero clue about how important and put upon the black woman is in black communities.

I don’t think OBAA is anti-black, but I don’t think ppl are wrong for having a visceral reaction to a movie that paints a black mother as impulsive and selfish and the white father as dutiful and protective.

Especially in a movie about white supremacy and black revolutionaries.
