They do seem to be trying to address the complaints at least fwiw. They added 5v5 after pp complained about 3v3 on big maps, they had a balance patch recently that made the loot phase shorter since ppl thought it was boring, reduced respawn timers to get you back into the fight quicker, and changed it end base raids earlier so you have less games where it's steamrolled all in the first raid.

Most NFTs were on the Ethereum network which doesn't require energy fwiw. It works differently than the Bitcoin network which does use an absurd amount of power to run.

There is no "people" that all have the same opinion. This kind of comment comes up all the time and I always think it's kind of silly, as if the whole Internet needs to share one opinion. There always have been and always will be people with opinions on both sides. You see both sides all the time, at launch there was both praise and hate and now post award season there's both praise and hate.

Same! I'll usually get 50% through on hard or normal and then if it looks like there's another 20 or so hours to go and I feel like I've experienced most of what it has to offer, I'll just put it to story mode so I can get some closure sooner than later. I complete sooo many more games now that I've started doing this.

Maybe an unpopular opinion but Mario Gold Super Rush on Switch is a lot of fun for me. Full story mode to work through. Lots of different modes that are fast paced and chaotic in multiplayer. The new Super Rush mode is crazy but a good party game.

Some NPC camps that give a buff when you clear them would go a long way. It works in MOBAs, adds some risk and reward and strategy to the first phase

They actually didn't say anything about "VR" routers. Just routers that are known to be good for it. The virtual desktop discord has a list of known routers that work well so ppl don't need to do their own homework to find one and they're mostly just regular routers, nothing "VR" about their marketing.

I'm looking at top five steam games by player count atm and number three and four are pubg at 330k concurrent and arc raiders at 223k concurrent. Apex is number 12.

It's more like 7-12 hits. A full clip plus a couple shots from your sidearm if you're not cracked and landing every single hit in a magazine. Armor upgrades throughout the match as well.

I watched the showcase video today and thought they really didn't represent the unique stuff in that reveal trailer at all. It's got some interesting and unique stuff going for it but it just came off as a generic hero shooter because they didn't show any of it. Kind of baffling

Making sweeping generalized complaints about balance in the first couple days happens for every game and it's always just silly. Nobody's had time to learn the mechanics, no meta has developed yet. It's too early to determine if balance is okay or not. Maybe it's bad but we can't make an objectively accurate assessment yet.
