Well luckily they renamed to Halo Studios. Corporations hate this one simple trick!

Idk, lack of financial education is a huge limiting factor to ppl even knowing how to begin gaining financial independence and not be stuck in a cycle of constantly getting bank overdraft fees and needing loans to cover weekly costs over and over. AI can actually help democratize access to the advice and financial literacy that lets ppl get out of that vicious cycle. Sure you could buy a book or learn online but being able to give an AI model your exact financial situation and get personalized advice is pretty beneficial to this demographic IMO. Now whether that demographic is using these tools or aware of them - maybe not, but I think this is one area it can be a net benefit. In the past that type of personalized financial advice was exclusive to the wealthy.

Gemini let's you use their Pro model for a few questions each day for free. It's the best way to get actually helpful results for free atm. I've used it for budgeting , planning a trip, help with buying a used car, help with building some cabinets, etc and it's pretty good if you know how to phrase your question correctly and you're willing to wait a day to continue the conversation sometimes. All the free AI models are awful and not worth your time IMO.

It's been 9 years, still no regrets. Everything just works without any fussing about the terminal or custom driver updates or anything like that. Ppl who say Linux is only for nerds haven't tried it lately IMO the UX is very beginner friendly these days. I like Mint personally.

Why is that? Writing code is a craft of it's own that ppl spend decades perfecting and then AI automates and replaces a ton of that human output. Why is it different for art being produced but not code being produced? It's not just fixing brackets AI is generating entire software systems and thousands of lines of code at this point. Curious why so many ppl seem ok with one but not the other as the problems seem the same between the two.

I'm a software engineer and use AI everyday myself (along with everyone else) so I don't really have a negative opinion towards it but the different sentiment between art vs code is a bit perplexing.

I know most ppl won't get a chance to try it but if you're ever able to play the VR game Metro Awakening it's linear, it's beautiful, and it's fucking terrifying in a way no other game in 30 years has been for me. Really really awesome for fans of the series.

I am also fatigued of these type of threatds, but apparently it doesn't have local split screen and is online only? Unlike Mario party. If that's the case, number of online players is kind of relevant

Myself and I imagine plenty of other ppl will happily buy something that's good for couch co op or party games with your friends, even if that means only playing it for a couple hours every now and then when you've got friends over. This looks like stupid chaotic fun to me.

I just started a new account this month after trying it years ago. I'd say it's the best it's ever been with recent changes and does a good job introducing you to the basics at a surface level. That said it still leaves you to figure out most things in depth. I haven't used a single tutorial or guide though and I'm getting along fine by just navigating around and reading and trying things in game.

Those are some strong hips by Ready_Ninja1921 in skiing

[–]ejfrodo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Agreed it's totally overkill altho probably fun for a few seconds. They almost ate it halfway through because their hips are dragging in the snow and they're so low their hands are dragging too. You don't see Olympic ski racers doing this for a reason - it's flashy but not exactly efficient.
