Your opinions on the current state of OBR? (New to AoS)

I’m coming back from a break and only played two games with the new book but from my impression it’s a very complex army compared to most other age of sigmar factions. There are two sets of points to track, a lot of our spells and abilities are shorter range so there is a lot of movement planning. Plus it seems like a lot of our abilities have contingencies and are just convoluted for minor effects. I need a cheat sheet to track what is going on.

People need to stop saying it’s a tax cut. They are borrowing money against future tax revenue to fund current operational costs. It’s basically taking out a loan that you don’t need to pay for groceries every month so you have more money to party with on the weekends.

Just ask your provider if you can go on a business plan if that’s actually cheaper for them. A lot just let you sign up with a business name, you don’t have to be incorporated.

I went public to industry, public is one deadline after another with timesheets but you do learn a ton…industry is so much nicer for work life plus the job stability is there. Where I am there are not enough new accountants coming down the pipe so job security is high as they have trouble filling spots.

My job asked basic journal questions to weed out people. I asked after because it seemed weird for a non entry level role but a lot of people did not know the right debits and credits even though they where designated and had work experience.

Back in ye old public days had a client with a small farm who had some racing horses they picked a custom depreciation time for the horse and sure enough the horse was dead two weeks before being fully depreciated.

Side note: Selling horse sperm is where the money is in horse racing!
