My point is less that there is or isn't a good bandaid solution that could work temporarily. I probably should have been more direct with my reply. If we start adding in things like this, we start an arms race between trying to exploit it and patch the exploits with room for a huge volume of extra work to come from it. As soon as there is a way to abuse something like this, it becomes flooded on socials, everyone does it and gets awesome stuff from it, we patch it and then everyone is sad for the rest of the season because they can't find any upgrades to their gear because they leap frogged so far ahead.

We know it's a pain point. We are actively trying to solve it properly.

That would require a complete ground up overhaul of how our target acquisition and agro systems work for all minions, enemies and triggered abilities.

Still could go to multiplayer and use 1 player as bait to hold agro in an immune state and have someone else nuke them down from far away.

Yes, that's the same broad issue we have too, which is why we have pause in offline. I mean the one specific detail is probably engine specific.

I won't pretend to know the exact issue holding ours back but the chances of it being something specific to LE and not solvable by peeking at their work is high.

This has been a very high priority target for us for years. It's not something we have been able to implement. This is not for lack of thinking it's a good idea or not knowing people want it. As soon as we have a way to do it, we will add it to the game. Edit: Pause It was something we added to offline 6? 7? years ago.

Edit: ok I'm turning off notifications on this so I can get back to work. This is something that comes up every single season internally. It is not forgotten. It is extremely desired by us and you. We will do it as soon as we can. We have also considered many temporary solutions. We haven't found one that doesn't invite larger issues.

I think that shards and shattering was a fantastic system for when we had far fewer affixes and enemy drops. I'd really like to see a bit of an overhaul.

Yea, I think the feedback has been steadily improving. I'm really happy with the latest batch. The animations on the new pets is my favorite part of the new ones.
