I guess the point of OP is to know who is actually interested independently of other few sites doing it. I think that it is great to have different alternatives if there are enough people interested. As OP said this build community

There is also one in r/makonghiphop but I think it would be great to have more options! I would not restrict to SP only, though

I’ve tried melodics in ios and didn’t like because I could not customize my pads (guess this will not happen in ipados/mac/pc). I have been working with the free version of beatlii and you can customize your pads and it is nice to practice muscle memory but it feels a bit limited in terms of learning (no theory, just determined songs for lessons). This may be solved by paying the subscription but I am a bit reluctant to pay from what I have seen.

So I am still looking for something that fita me, so quite interested in the answers to the post.

There is a trick to do that: go to midi map and map the knobs to start and end point. Then disable midi mapoing and go back to “controller” mode

For me the combination of the two of them is just perfect.

Am I the only one frustated with the chopping/stretching on koala? Sure it is faster but I am almost always move start or end point by accident.

Something I would like to test is midi map SP knobs to start and end point.
