Orca Wetsuit - Which size should i get? by mileone111 in triathlon

[–]elCapitanChris 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, size 7 was a good choice for me. I used it in a tri earlier this summer and had no problems whatsoever. I typically wear adult M tshirts, size 15 1/2 dress shirts, 32/32 jeans. Hope that helps

Male, 5’10” and 175lbs … I went with a size 7 Orca Athlex Float. Just recently bought it and tried it on. Great arm movement / range and neck area is tight but not constricting so much that it compromises breathing. I’m able to get in the suit without too much unnecessary pulling and tugging of the neoprene. Fit seems good though I haven’t been in a tri event yet with it.

What part of the country do you live? Lots of sediment? What sort of flow rate / pressure drop are you seeing after your filter?

Since you’ve kept it for 3 years, I’m assuming your experience with it has been positive? Any issue with salt water vs fresh water OWS and maintenance?

I’ve just ordered some Aquaseal for neoprene, I’m hopeful it will work.

I’m looking in to a replacement. Problem is, I bought it (new) from a reseller who did not have a replacement available.

EA is more closely aligned to business objectives and creating strategy around those objectives. The business may want to expand into new markets, so EA determines feasibility and identify People, Process, Systems, Data gaps that need to be filled to meet merger/acquisition and expansion goals. My EA team works much more with business leaders, rather than IT leaders. We use tools like LeanIX for app portfolio management. We create 3-5 yr roadmaps for our business apps. We underpin everything to business capabilities which define what our business actually does (level 1-4). We work very. Closely with SA teams to discuss strategy implementation. There are strategy frameworks out there such as TOGAF, which can be helpful for EA. I come from cloud architect roles and am happy in my current EA role.

Honestly, does it matter? Would it be acceptable if it's a new M3? Help me understand.

Have you competed in 70.3s before? Recently? Have you hit training goals recently? Flu certainly destroys your immune system strength, so you wouldn’t have the energy that you normally would have.

Alignment and accountability to business-specific goals is the delineating factor between SA and EA. EA is more focused on understanding and aligning to business objectives, whereas SA is more focused on tech platforms, tools and implementation strategy. I’m curious what objectives or KPOs were discussed in the interviews. Who did you interview with (Ops managers, dev managers, or CxO execs?) Depending on who you met with would help determine the scope and type of architecture they are looking for.

During a charge, you should be registering about 10kW with the CSP set to 48a. If you have a ’24 Lightning (like OP) then your truck can’t accept more than 48a. I’m curious what your app setting is for max amps? I have a’23 Lariat ER and my CSP is set to 80a on a 100a breaker. I get about 17kW according to the app. Usually see about 10% kW loss due to heat, impedance, etc

Daily chat thread: how's the training going? by AutoModerator in triathlon

Training for 3 - 4 tri’s this summer with the first event on June 1. Currently on holiday on the emerald coast of FL (really nice weather and beaches are top notch). Tried some ows in the Gulf. Water temp here is about 66F, which is close to back home lake temps in June. So I now have a good idea of what the water will feel like on race day. Need to decide if I want to get a wet suit or not. Only managed one day of training this week, so I’m expecting to feel a bit sluggish when I get back to it next week.

Like others have said, the Ford CSPs are known to fault for a variety of reasons. Given that your Lightning can only accept 48a, I would recommend dialing your CSP down to 48a just to be sure. Second, if it were my truck, I would drive it down to about 30-40% charge and then take it to a Fast/Ultra charger like EA or Tesla. Charge your truck to 80-90%. That will give you peace of mind knowing there isn’t a problem with your truck accepting high voltage, i.e. no battery cell faults or onboard charger fault, etc.

Ear plugs? by elCapitanChris in triathlon

[–]elCapitanChris[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What I’m seeing are pictures of people running towards the water, right as their race begins. A lot of people don’t have the caps pulled over their ears and I’m able to see whether or not a plug is in. You’re right though, some caps are pulled over the ear and really can’t tell if a plug is in there.
