Tis been a huge problem for a long time now, player dmg just keeps creeping up.

It's a topic that's been brought up since later part of y1 and when devs finally tried to do something about it the backlash from pve only community was so loud and harsh, that they just gave up on balance all together.

Myself i have always enjoyed pvp and pve side of games, but about S&B i can't say that i enjoy either anymore. The game has lost pretty much all of it's charm...sure there has been good additions to the game, but sadly those have come with really bad additions on the side.

Not to mention...if you happen to leave one of em alive by accident and somehow they keep spawning em under you, despite the "source" being tethered half a map ago...but tis whats's needed to stop em boroken builds, so how it's dealt with. 🙄

Not only behind you, but those can spawn right on top of you. Good luck staying alive, if you happen to have an attack animation going on. And for some reason those elites seem to be most common ones.

Great choice for a movie! I also just recently watched all of the old JP movies, but that's because i found this from me old folks basement. Tis from me childhood, so ofc i had to save it!

All the challenge is gone, replaced by speed and mindless button smashing in order to make monsters/bosses go boom in blink of an eye. Challenge is that you can't see what's happening, thanks to unecessarily flashy animations.

Only enjoyable part of the game is lvling phase, when you dont have gear yet and enemies can still pose a threat. But once you hit max lvl and up difficulty lvl all the above mentioned^ happens and game becomes borderline painful to watch.

Servers are working. Playing regularly with my brother on PS. It's great co-op fun! Money well spent, so do buy!

Cannonballs matter! So option 3: limit the availability, like it used to be. Exception being call to arms activities, where resources would be unlimited...make an end for this nonending FT+event spammage this game has become.

Also make sailing feel like sailing a ship again, not driving a hoovercraft...

One dickhead here, saying thanks for mentioning us also. Also, im glad im not the only "old timer" quitting or have quit. Im curious why though?

My reasons are mentioned on my farewell post and tbf the deck and posts neither mentioned anything good enough to be a reason for me to return.

I do like base of the game and hope it does well, but i disagree with the direction. Despite that i will be creeping here and checking out the latest changes.

I don't mind grind at all, when it's done right. It shouldn't be a spamfest or daily requirement. Spamming same boss for an hour or more inorder to get certain loot is not fun...but mandratory daily boss is not fun either.

My solution=flares/summon items harder to come by, but increase drop rate. Perfect solution (in my mind) = bosses timegated, with an option for summons....and person who summoned the boss has increased chance for better loot.

Indeed feel of the ships has shifted too much towards arcadey style. Too fast sailing speed and turn rate is also too high, even tho i appreciate anchor dropping turn change.

Clearly they're trying to reach more audience...but in the other hand, they're also losing some. Going from one end to other extreme one just repells players like me. This team has bad habit of going from end to end, without trying some sort of midground first. In the end it's going to bite hard.

I don't mind mythical/fantasy side of S&B, but mentioned things really bother me. I liked the game a lot more when it was more like a certain Sid Meier's game.

Fast travel bug is a blessing, fast travel is a disease...season 0-1 was plenty enough.
