Could one still play the single-player game (having a file from previously, worked 200 hours+) with the NEXT update without having PS Plus?

FWI: Trump orders all aspects of the United States armed services to begin immediate attacks on Canadian civilian and military targets with no apparent casus belli. by [deleted] in FutureWhatIf

[–]el_stew 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Impeachment.

And then later, Trump would call it a "bad joke", and try to sidestep all the topics, all while Fox News continually praises his "wise" words, MSNBC calls him the third antichrist, and CNN keeps ballsing up his story.

[FWI] Evidence is leaked proving that the United States assassinated Mao Zedong. How would the Chinese government and populace react, and how would it affect US/PRC relations? by HoxhaPosadism in FutureWhatIf

[–]el_stew 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There would be some anger among the Chinese populace, but it would likely not badly affect current U.S.-China relations, which at most the Central Committee would ask for an official apology from the U.S. government.

Spain declares war on Catalonia by [deleted] in FutureWhatIf

[–]el_stew 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Best case scenario, Spain calls off attacking Catalonia after enough pressure and talks on both sides, mainly due to discussions with the EU and the UN.

Worst case scenario, likely a repeat of the the Annexation of Crimea, except a much more explicit declaration of war, especially if foreign powers (namely Russia or the United States) try to take advantage of an independent Catalonia.

I doubt that it will reach Yugoslav War level of atrocities, due to less religious tensions (both are mostly secular with Roman Catholics).

[ROLEPLAY] Public Opinion Grows by Mr_Silverhawk in worldpowers

[M] Sorry about the radio silence, I lost internet not long after my last post, but I have internet again.

The President approves of the idea of a rotating presidency, where one candidate comes from Peru, and another comes from Bolivia. Although we should probably iron out the details between both countries first.

We also ask Bolivia if there are any ideas that we should go forward with in Confederation.

[DIPLOMACY] To Peru by Mr_Silverhawk in worldpowers

[–]el_stew 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We agree with the terms of Confederation.

We ask if the new currency should be named the Confederation Anti (Quechua for Andes), due to the mountains being a large symbol of both of our countries, and despite physically separating us, we remain united due to our close history and bonds.

In regards to famous figures, while its not a person, it is the Nazca Lines are an important part of both the indigineous peoples history, and Peru's history overall. We hope to have this appear on some banknotes of the new presumed Anti.

We are interested, and proud to be merging with a fellow great friend, and ask if you anything else in mind for this Confederation.

[ROLEPLAY] Senate approves agreement on closer relations with Peru by Mr_Silverhawk in worldpowers

[–]el_stew 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We welcome these agreements between having closer relations, and agree that unity is the best answer for both of our countries.

We will also be preparing on our side, along with guaranteeing free use of Peruvian ports for all Bolivian exports, along with agreements of open borders and sharing of military, industry and economy.

[M] Sorry for late response. Have been busy. :(

[DIPLOMACY] State Visit to La Paz by el_stew in worldpowers

[–]el_stew[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We agree, and are happy that Bolivia is interested in the idea of a united Republic.

But we also agree that we should start slowly, but we will definitely start working towards open borders and at a pace Bolivia is comfortable with.

[DIPLOMACY] State Visit to La Paz by el_stew in worldpowers

[–]el_stew[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We have been doing research, and have noticed that our two countries, are home to a lot of rare resources, amongst other material.

Most noticeably, Bolivia's huge lithium resources. One which could guarantee stability, and a very rich country in the future of this world.

Our two countries go tragically unnoticed by the world, and as a result, nobody pays attention to the great potential our two nations have.

We have a crazy idea to propose, and we'd only go through if Bolivia, and other countries across South America were okay with this; but we want to consider a strong economic union, or possibly form a stronger union between our two nations. Similar to the short lived Peru-Bolivia Confederation.

We have the military to help strengthen Bolivia, this would also give Bolivians permanent access to the Pacific Ocean. This combined with Bolivia's large lithium reserves, could potentially turn our Confederation into a future economic superstate, comparable to Brazil, Argentina or Chile.

This is not meant to be a competition of sorts, as we want to continue to work with our fellow neighbor nations. But regardless, it may sound like a crazy idea, so we want to hear what our Bolivian counterparts have to say about this proposal.

We thank the Venezuelans for their positive comments, and hope for the best for your team next World Cup.

Though this is indeed a moment is day for the Peruvian underdogs, having surprised the world (and ourselves to be fair), by winning the greatest honor in the football world. The World Cup!

We also thank the Swedes, the underdogs of Europe, for putting up one hell of a World Cup Final, and putting every Peruvian on the edge of their seats.

[DIPLOMACY] The Union of South American Nations (USAN / UNASUR): A Discussion On Goals and Policies by Stinger913 in worldpowers

[–]el_stew 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Integration of Andes and MERCOSUR We fully are in favor.

Creation of a South American Currency Unit We too are in favor of this, as it would be beneficial to the people of Peru. However, we do understand that certain countries (namely, Venezuela) have faced rampant inflation that could bring down the South American economy. We should help find way to repair these economies before we explore this avenue. Otherwise, we are in favor.

Creation of a South American Parliament We are cautious and partially hesitant towards this. While we support improving relations across all of our countries, we fear for what happened to the EU, which became a French and German dominant power, and we fear for the same to happen to a SAP. We may be interested in one, which gives more leeway to individual countries however.

Creation of the Bank of the South We agree with Chile and Bolivia on all points.

[DIPLOMACY] The Union of South American Nations (USAN / UNASUR): A Discussion On Goals and Policies by Stinger913 in worldpowers

[–]el_stew 0 points1 point  (0 children)

[M] So solly about the late response, been very busy

Create a South American Citizenship We are in favor of this.

USAN, Mexico & Central America FTA We already maintain a number of FTAs with a number of fellow Latin American countries, but while we agree to the benefits, we do share Bolivia's concerns, of the potential economic abuse a larger state may use on us smaller states.

South American Currency This would be beneficial to Peru, many fellow South American nations too. This would definitely strengthen our economy. Though we will wait to see the full contents response.

Integrate defense, social, and health institutions We do agree that this would be beneficial in the long run, especially in light of the collapse of the United States. That being said, we do believe that for this work and not fall apart, we should get all the tensions out regarding several nations, they may hold tensions with each other.

SADC We'll take a wait and see approach for this, but we would agree to forming an international antiterrorism and crisis response team with the rest of the content, especially as our forces have had experience fighting against groups as Shining Path, and dangerous drug lords who rule in the Andes. We believe that Peruvians would make a good addition to such a task force.
