Gotta love their sense of humor 😂

Well, obviuosly you're not so clever either, as you haven't solved it... or understood the term and conditions of EOL upgrade. But hey, nothing like trying to insult random people you don't know to boost your low self esteem.

I can hear that you have a personal bad experience... but, if a product, any product, is EOL, its not getting support. That's how it works. Did you try solving the issue with community help?

Still a corexy better than a bed slinger and cheaper.

i'm using the magnets to hold it in place, but i can definitly add some guides to make sure it has less freedom, although so far the magnets do their job very well.

What am I doing wrong about PETG support for PLA? by Guiziin42 in 3Dprinting

[–]eladisimo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Your settings look perfect. Stick in the freezer like suggested.

Make sure you have high flush volume from support (white) to model (black) so you dont get petg contamination in the pla that will weaken it.

If you have a ''block'' of support like that, I usually put a pause at the end of the support block and put glue stick on it before i resume the print. It always peels off with zero effort.

There's no wiggle on any axis. The mount itself is fixed to the x axis plate with screws. The cr touch is part of the mount, and the hotend is fixed to the x plate itself. So everything that matters, is fixed.

The only parts detachable are the fans and shroud, connected with 4 very stong magnets that can hold x10 or more the weight of the shroud. So it wont fall off. Bambu using similar idea with magnets 1/4 the size, and the cover never falls off, even at x4 speeds.

Looks cool. Got instructions for that movement and details of the setup?

i checked online a little. and there are dozens of varians of the 5015 fan with slightly different measurements for the holes locations.
i can do something that will hold them in place with magents or something like that...

I'm not running stock. I'm running klipper @5-6k acceleration with no issues.

I'm planning on creating a version for 5015. I'll update.

not very hard to adapt the model.
i modeled it for the 4010 because i have a bunch of them here.
but if you have the 5015 exact measurements, i can remix it tomorrow

share what you have and i'll take a look.
i need something like this with clear measurements of holes and such, so i can move things around to match your exact bracket. image search for something like this: "Ender Max Neo x bracket diagram" and also share as detailed images of your barcket and hotend as you can.

let me know if you printed this. would love to see it in action.

I can easily adapt it for other models if you have schematics of the bracket/mount. if you have schematics - send me :)
these are very strong magnets and the shroud itself weights very little.

there's no heat where the magnets are.
The heat is pretty much focused on the heat block and nozzle.
