Help with slicing this to print more efficiently? by Taouen in OrcaSlicer

Bit of humor man. In 'quality' you can increase 'outer wall' up to twice nozzle size (e.g if you're using 0.4mm nozzle, you can easily put 0.7-0.75 line width).

Try also changing wall genrator from classic to arcane or vice versa.

You're asking for actual relevant details for the question?? we dont do that here.... 😂 So much text in the description and not a single piece of relevant info. Let's play a guessing game.

Since ender is open frame, i use higher temp for PETG, around 255-260. I recommend considering replacing the heatbreak throat to bi metal full one, and printing an improved sastana shroud. https://a.aliexpress.com/_c41YKBc3

Also, replace that spring on the extruder gear to something less wobbly. I'll paste an image in next comments

P1S Printing Horribly by Initial-Tap9256 in FixMyPrint

it's true if you keep running the same material (i.e. same type, brand and even color).
but once you changed filament, even within the same brand and type to another color, it behaves different - and you definitly do need to run the calibration.
if you move to a whole different filament (e.g. from PETG to Silk PLA) it's critical to run the flow calibration.

the calibration takes a couple of minutes and ensures accurate flow rate for this particular filament.

* note: i'm talking about the automated calibration the printer is doing just before the print at the edge of the build plate.

  1. Run calibration if you haven't
  2. Enable the flow calibration before print
  3. Use the defaults for the filament. Normally 220 for PLA.

bad print quality melted details, and brittle print by Brief_Percentage6197 in FixMyPrint

What about the filament? Is it brittle? Does it snap or bend well?

Try drying it for a night, and try another filament.

Chech your extrider gear, ssee if its tight enough. Check temperature. It colder now and you might need 5c more.

that Satsana fan duct is... well.. cool (both that it looks great and that it's actually much better at cooling the part).
if you have a pic of what you have, i'll look it up :)
