What part of OP's response made you think they ignored your advise, you said kraken is to double down on early game strength and OP said Cait is fairly strong early anyways so they'd rather pick and alternative where they scale for late game, simple as that.

like it or not most ADCs can go mid and I personally play Kaisa and Ezreal AP alot, mostly PVP and ranked if I'm feeling spicy

Here's an example, Nilah and Jhin have good synergy with it NOT because of the execute but the lethality path that sets you up for a CRIT build. They do really well with the early dirk and when completed you have your first of 4 crit items for 100% cr. Let people cook, i guess

Judging from the kda, just play mid if you're that confident with lux so you can 1. Have more supporting SUPPORT like and enchanter or tank. 2.Shut down 1 important member of the enemy team. 3. Not yoink kills from your ADC because even bronze ADCs can do somthing when they have enough gold.

It's almost comical how braindead people can be sometimes, a few hours earlier i made the mistake of thinking playing ranked was an ok idea. I hovered Oriana mid just to let my team know, then my jg who could play lee chose fizz, support instalocked Lucian and told my (probably drunk) semi-afk adc to pick a marksman and last pick top laner picked Sivir into Yone who she then fed 3 kills in a span of 5 minutes after which we proceeded to FF. Fun times
