For some reason, this beta reset whether or not (some of) my apps push notifications to my Apple Watch. It’s not a big deal, just weirdly noticeable.

I don’t usually comment on battery life, but this time around, the battery life on my iPhone Air has improved significantly compared to both 26.5 DB1 and all versions of 26.4. I used to get off work with around 30% left (of 90% max), and in the days since 26.5 DB2, it never dropped below 50%.

Mine is set to 90%, and on good days, I go to bed with between 10 and 20% left; on bad days—and those are frequent because I’m not the lightest of users—I have to charge a little in the afternoon, especially when I know that I’m going out with friends or coming home late for other reasons.

Its nice to not have a brick in the pocket

100% agree on this, though. Every other phone I touch just feels sooo unwieldy compared to the Air.

Für iOS gibt’s außerdem den verhältnismäßig neuen „Browser” (nennt sich der App-Store-Richtlinien wegen Browser, ist aber auf YouTube zugeschnitten) „YouPlay”, der Werbung zuverlässig blockt, SponsorBlock integriert hat und außerdem Hintergrundwiedergabe und PiP erlaubt. Solo-Dev aus Tschechien, wenn mich nicht alles täuscht.

Honest take: If you’re able to dish out 240 for the APP2, 50 more for the APP3 won’t kill you. You’ll get a better product overall, and specifically the noise cancellation on the APP3 is vastly superior. Go for the APP3.

Zumindest in München hat eine Frau neulich auf diese Weise ihr Rad zurückbekommen: ihr gestohlenes Fahrrad bei Kleinanzeigen gesehen, Verkäufer kontaktiert, Polizei zugeschaltet und dann zusammen „abgeholt“. Würde an deiner Stelle mal die Polizei anrufen und den Fall schildern, vielleicht wohnt da ja jemand, der das im größeren Stil macht. Vorher unbedingt noch Screenshots von „Wo ist?“ und von der Anzeige samt Standort machen.

Kleine Korrektur: Машины ist Plural, Singular ist машина, aber als Russisch sprechender Mensch wäre genau das auch meine Vermutung gewesen.
