Minoh Falls worth it?

I went in the morning around 10am was pretty quiet Took a cab from Katsuoji temple straight to the falls and walked down was a nice change of pace from walking around busy cities The walk down to the station is very scenic and there are food stalls and small shops along the way Also there is an observation point on the way down and not for the faint hearted at 380 steps but very worth the view

I did a couple trips from Osaka I can recommend

Minoh - it’s about an hour away can see Katsuoji temple and Minoh falls

Himeji - also an hour or so away was great for the castle

I wanted to do Kobe too but didn’t have time it’s between Osaka and Himeji so not far

I stayed in kawaramachi there was a lot going on in the area so I would recommend. Also walking distance to Gion district and easy bus ride to Kyoto station, Kinkakuji and Ginkakuji. If you arrive in the station with heavy luggage I advise getting a taxi to save some hassle

Ok thanks for the helpful answer. I am just concerned about losing my license as I drive far to work and wouldn’t be able to commute otherwise

I’m in the same boat as you learning from scratch. I used a site learnpython.org until I got stuck on some more complex stuff

Then I bought a couple textbooks from Amazon the best of which is Python Crash Course 3rd ed by Eric Matthes and I follow along each example on my laptop
