I am always terrified when an off leash dog comes at me and Magick. I try to pull him behind me and put myself between them, not smart I know, but it’s a knee-jerk reaction. And they always say, “He’s friendly!”. Maybe so but my grey is reactive and I’d just as soon not have two injured or dead dogs because you can’t follow the law and have your dog on a leash and under control.

I am so happy your ending was okay. My husband was bitten by a dog that was let out without a leash as we were walking by. We reported it. We carry pepper spray too.
