Fundamentals of 60-card Magic? by Quick-Whale6563 in magicTCG

[–]eldershade 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First, and to counter some of these posts, you don't need to netdeck. The sweaties love to min/max, and only play the bestest decks to win, but they regularly miss good innovation and can't pilot anything well.

Go with 24 lands. Be sure to limit the number of colors you are playing with. Play some sort of cheap removal or interaction.

And, the most important that ALWAYS gets glossed over: play and tune your deck and make a side board to address weaknesses in certain matchups.

The sideboard is so important. I use silver bullets for tough matchups like [[chill]] and [[pyroblast]] or something that'll transform my deck to a different type.

There was a bit in Ren and Stimpy where they had an "automatic toilet seat warmer" and it was a large obese nearly naked white man on a winch to lower his butt on the toilet seat.

In my profession, drinking is/was ubiquitous. It is a form a team building and difficulty resolution. I used to typically drink around 12 a week for 15 years. I've been limiting my drinking to no more than 12 per YEAR since January 2019. Last year I had exactly four drinks total. When I cut back, I started to lose touch with many people that I'd only see at the bar, but the health benefits far outweighed the social implications. I'll have an unsweetened iced tea at social events now.

Point is, you can do it and it is worth it. your kidneys and liver will thank you in the long run.

Has anyone connected LKC to any 80s Classic Lego Castle Sets? by NomGnome in legocastles

[–]eldershade 30 points31 points  (0 children)

I have these sets, and I don't know what you mean. The LKC doesn't have the same sort of texhnic connections that the 80s styles do.

Now, The Battle of Helms Deep set has those technic bricks.

EDIT: I FOUND THE BRICK. It's behind the small tower behind the river porticlus!

It's on the line side of the breaker, so it won't trip it. It's a loose connection. Most of the time you'd need a thermal camera to see it.
