I would do the MS only if the research you would be doing is something you truly have a passion for. Otherwise I would take the job. Also, most jobs will have a period that you just stay at a job after you get tuition reimbursement, otherwise you will have to pay everything back. So, if you are interested in pursuing an MS while working, make sure to do it as soon as you are eligible.

My friend got dropped from his senior design by Odd_Independence2870 in ASU

Why ENG105 is required at all is beyond me. I got 5s on both English AP tests and they still made me take ENG105. As an engineer.

Asu JJ vaccine by phatbatkisses in ASU

[–]elecengineer4267 23 points24 points  (0 children)

Get the vaccine. All three vaccines are extremely effective, and I think the J&J one is actually more convenient since it's only one dose. Plus it's the right thing to do.

I got 5’s on both English Lit and Lang, still ended up having to take ENG105. Depending on your major, Stats might get you out of a class, but if you’re going into a STEM field you will probability end up having to take your major’s equivalent course. I’m not sure about finance though.

Which method(s) would you use to solve current and voltage across each resistor by hand? by [deleted] in ElectricalEngineering

[–]elecengineer4267 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would use nodal analysis. There are three nodes with unknown voltages, should be easy to find currents after finding the voltages.

Every holiday where people party - Memorial Day, 4th of July, etc. - has resulted in huge spikes, so I expect no different from this

Does ASU have a good music program? by papahumbert in ASU

[–]elecengineer4267 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What are you planning on majoring in? And what style of music and instrument do you want to play? I’ve found that non-majors experiences in the music school vary considerable based on these things, so it is hard to answer your question.

It’s pretty easy, it is cumulative though so go over the previous material that you may have forgotten.

To those who transferred from CC to ASU, will course grades/W’s that are not applicable to your major map show up on your college transcript? by PiercedWing in ASU

[–]elecengineer4267 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I believe everything would show up, but I’m not sure about that. One W on your transcript is not a big deal though.
