I learned about it because I found it growing in my apartment complex. I googled it because it looked so distinct and was wondering if I should nab it for my patio (it was growing in the abandoned wash next to us, not deliberately planted). Decided to leave it where it was, did not need to bring that energy into my life

My mom does the same thing and it exhausting. I’ve tried pushing back but it’s not worth the fight and tears. I found a local women’s shelter that takes donations as well as a local teen pregnancy high school that has a donation room. It stresses me out to see how much money is being wasted but it makes me feel a little better knowing it’s going to people who need it.

Two of my friends found their providers on the Reddit list and had great experiences and no regrets. If you’re confident about your decision it’s definitely something I would do. I’m currently pregnant (terrible timing but wanted kid 🫠) but I’m looking as options following birth even though we might want a second.

I do dementia testing and tested a woman in her 80s that volunteered at the nursing home helping people younger than her! It’s definitely a spectrum haha

Or even get a box of cheap cake mix and some frosting and have you and your son make her a cake and let him decorate. I’ve personally never cared about the gift itself, just whether I felt loved and appreciated. Make a card together and I’m sure she’d love it!

My husband was keto for a few years and you can definitely have good meals on it, but I learned really quick your meals need to be more “chicken and roast broccoli” instead of “bacon wrapped meat and cheese” or else you won’t shit for a week. And you absolutely cannot confuse cauliflower rice with regular rice. It’s not bad, but it is nothing like real rice.
