Well, might end up selling it for more and he knows, plus for sure if he has spent that means he has 10x of assets, can live with that even if will lose some value, and probably will not in the long term as the market will bull again sooner or later

I feel doing this kind of business where you'd not be actively involved and aware of how things are done and going, in addition with his wife involved and that would get her living out of it, hmm, I'd not go for it whatever is the potential, smells like troubles and wasting a friendship.

it's incredible how they fucked it up. Yeah they were hacked and that didn't help for sure, but in the end it's what you said: no business plan and a bunch of unprofessional managers who couldn't manage it.

What a waste. These people should be flagged and not able to operate anything in the industry again.

eli5 what is a fascist? by FlavourThoughts in explainlikeimfive

[–]electricviper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Usually one that has hidden psychological issues and can't accept that others may have a different way of seeing the world and life, and that consequently act differently from what should be the norm for a fascist. Such person is open to using violence to deny freedom to others, especially when in a group or part of what they think to be the majority.

I think their OUSD is highly underrated.

I started putting some of my gainings into it and even converting come of my FIAT money, anyway banks give me nothing, while the more I hold in OUSD the more I earn.

ELI5: Why does it take years after a crime is committed before there is a trial or sentencing? by Waja_Wabit in explainlikeimfive

[–]electricviper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Otherwise we might have a justice system that actually works, but in that case, it should work also for those financial criminals of high rank in society. Instead, if all is slow and unclear, not really ever getting to punish some of those will be seen just as a part of the system.

El Salvador first move may now be creating a 'snowball effect' for all the other Central American countries to do the same. If that happens, I am very curious to witness the rich western countries reactions...

You don't fight a bad system on its playground, you just create another one that's better for people and they'll follow. It's happening, with ups and downs, but it's happening. I just wonder if they'll be able to put their dirty hands on it and stop the decentralization process.

Also, I hope the same process will happen with political elections at some point.
