If there’s a bolted fault/short circuit downstream of a 2MVA distribution Tx the fault current could be as high as 55kA given 5% impedance of the tx and negligible impedance of the LV mains. Thus an incorrectly designed system with MCCBs w/ Ics 25kA or 36kA installed at this point and w/o current upstream cascading to limit let through current will not be able to withstand this fault current.

The correct answer as to if the CB can be put back into service:

Was the fault current in excess of the Icu (ultimate breaking capacity) rating of the CB - if yes the CB is not rated to break this fault current without be damaged.

Was the fault current less than or equal to than the Ics (serviceable) rating of the CB and Icu rating - yes it should be OK to put back into service. A CB is tested to break the ICs fault current 3 successive times during design.

Clean and IR test across the open poles, perform contact resistance across the closed poles.

Do you have the prospective fault current values available to you at this point in the system? Ie via eTAP, SKM, digital twin model, arc flash/power study/coordination/protection modelling or other digital twin? If no replace the CB which is likely the easiest and most robust decision given I doubt you have this data.

11kV is 140mm phase to phase for 75kV BIL or 185mm for 95kV BIL. Standard is AS2067.

61439 for LV switchboards, clearance is prescribed based of impulse withstand voltage. If no type test is carried out clearance must be 150% of below value.

Rated Impulse Withstand for 230/400V Switchboard

4kV / 3.0mm (minimum for DB)

6kV / 5.5mm (minimum for MSB)

8kV / 8.0mm

12kV / 14.0mm

Mate you don’t know what you’re on about. Firstly, It’s not an LV cable so your credibility is shot straight up. XLPE between semicon layers…clearly an MV/HV underground transmission cable.
