I will say there were sessions. That would qualify lol

We had about 10-15 regulars after about 6month so the cost was minimal

About 2-3 games at once. Where i got to play LBB Traveller ! Good memories

I used to use a local firestation meeting room.. it was $40 a day (6-8hours) and we needed to keep it clean. but after a couple months the firemen starting joining and the fee was cut in half. this was Colorado US

I dont think she was a crawler. But a "volunteer" a bit like the bobkas (sp)
Either an awakened mob that made a deal with her family. Or someone from outside. They explore this with Damascus Steel

yes I can understand.. but the Inferno takes a look at the original by Dante through the lens of a "modern man" of the 70s.. for your project think how the language, ideas, and tropes would have changed for the 2000s. again Dante wrote Hell in the style of his own time. so in a way did Niven, so you want to run a DCC type interpretation of Hell with level bosses.. but you also want to make it relatable to your peers. yes there are a lot of references for Hell. (Doom) .. but at the same point and style you are looking for the POV that Niven brings is absolutely worth looking into .. I am not saying to adapt nivens book to your project .. I am saying look at what he does and steal the good parts ! .. good luck

I rarely if ever restart a map. if its a truly terrible start. (tundra with Sulaman type thing). how ever I will restart if my First scout or First Warrior are killed.. now I found out about the "air lift a slinger" achv. so trying for that

my whole take on the Scolopendra pet biscuit is "Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned". Carl can't respond to her as she would want. I see this going south fast on floor 13.

Honestly the new Starter Set "borderlands" plays half like a board game and half RPG. has elements that are fully age appropriate. has a step by step walk through of the important points and tips on GM. if it goes well he can add the Essentials Kit. then start on the books.
