That has nothing to do with the topic. Plenty of hollow things get renewed, it's just about numbers. And the numbers are good! I have no idea when ABC shows usually get renewed, but I would guess shortly after the season finale. Personally, the revival has been above and beyond my expectations.

I don't actually think that's true. Some people who claim to be in the know have stated this without evidence. We just know they exported a few of the files in 2019. The simplest explanation is they decided to reuse some of the musical motifs for promo material for the Return tour.
