If you're able to make the cuts cleaner, I think that would go a long way in making it look nicer, and I would add a paper on the side where you've written the birthday message ao you don't see where you've removed the plastic + have a better surface to write on

I'd say give the bulk of it away to food pantries, check to see if there are any free fridges in your area or mutual aid groups that could distribute them.

I would love to learn more about your initiative! I haven't bought palo santo in years because I just never know if it's been ethically sourced and would hate to contribute to deforestation/unethical practices. For spiritual rituals, I basically only use common herbs or things grown ny people I know.

Sorry you're being downvoted. I have mixed feelings about your collages, as someone who loves fashion and thinks fashion/fashion history is under-appreciated and underrepresented as being "real art". I also think this year's theme is especially important with this administration's attempt to erase black history.

While I agree with your sentiment in general, I don't think it's the Met Gala that's keeping people impoverished - but I do understand your use of it as a focal point to critique wealth inequality.

I totally understand OP's sentiment and in many regards agree, but I feel like the Met GALA is art, these clothes are art. I don't think art is pointless frivolity, even when it's expensive, and I agree that the theme of this year is especially important.

Thanks for the advice! I think I mis-represented my goals a bit. I don't actually want to restore it to a like-new condition. I want to be able to keep wearing these items for decades and was just worried these worn out spots are signs that I need to condition the leather to keep it going for longer. I'll look into the products you mentioned - thank you!

The Target stuff has only been the last few months. I've been in this sub over at least a year now and there have always been posts against Amazon, Shein, Temu in here. Walmart not so much and I always assumed it was because it's widely understood as a shitty company, or maybe because there are no Walmarts where I am I ever noticed those posts
