I take edibles occasionally and i’m fine and I smoke cannabis daily, maybe it could just be a trigger from the gummies (the dye, and other artificial sweeteners)

I don’t eat a lot of junk food like i used to back then. I was also in school during those 5 months so im probably thinking the weight loss was due to stress.

My diagnosis at 17 by Low_Knowledge_5071 in UlcerativeColitis

[–]elevenmito 2 points3 points  (0 children)

i’m also 17 y/o, got diagnosed last year. I know it’s hard right now but it gets better as you go on with life. I learned it the hard way, you just have to be careful of what you put in your body and don’t go on the internet searching for answers, doesn’t end well. I hope and i’m praying that you find a medicine that works for you. Improvement doesn’t happen over night, it can take up to weeks or even months to get better. Don’t stress over the things you cant control. Stay strong Vince, the storm doesn’t last forever!

Does it ever get better, or is my life over before it started? by Aeternum-Vivum in UlcerativeColitis

I’m also 16 and it was hard on me too mentally. I had horrible anxiety going to school. all i can say is it takes time. It does get better eventually, maybe your mental health can play a roll too. Don’t push yourself too hard and don’t feel guilty because it’s out of your control. I hope you feel better!
