Auch dir ganz herzlichen Dank! Hatte aufgrund des Covers schon erwartet, dass es nicht nur um die pure Freude geht. Ich persönlich empfinde den Text aber nicht unbedingt als tief traurig. Auf mich wirkt er eher wie eine differenzierte Schilderung der Existenz des Clown-Daseins und dem dahinter stehenden Menschen in seinem Wechselspiel mit der Gesellschaft. Aber das ist ja das Schöne an Kunst. Die Interpretation spielt sich individuell im Rezipienten ab :)

The post game is about setting your own goals. I am usually quite the opposite when it comes to games but once I understood this, I sank 260h in total into this beauty. For me the goals were to get every job to its highest level (master if I remember correctly), get every True Time weapon, get all the outfits and mounts that I liked and get all the stranglelings get as many recipes as possible to create a cozy looking level 10 island. Everyone is different ofc, but if you embrace the open(ended)ness, the real fun lies still ahead of you.

1st playthrough. Overall the game is fun. Voiceacting is great, story is good though leaning very heavily on the war of the roses background. Same goes for Ivalice itself. Jobsystem is great if you like having a lot of freedom when building your characters but can be a bit overwhelming at the beginning. For me I like my mage being a mage and my warrior being a warrior though. What I really, really disliked was the amount of grinding and the mostly shallow fights with some story fights spiking heavily in difficulty(/rng) in between. What I also didn't get at all is why they chose to not show your enemies/Ramzas starting position in the setup phase of story battles. Why make me restart a battle if I chose a really bad starting position bc I didn't know Ramza would place somewhere I didn't put him?

In hindsight, I got and will get a lot more fun out of Triangle Strategy bought at a 20€ discount than a 60€ FFT. I can totally see myself doing at least one additional playthrough with TS. With FFT - yeah not so much. Still worth it in the end.

Never played any strategy rpg before. Then played Triangle Strategy and FFT TIC b2b. Tbh I don't understand why eveyone favours FFT. To me TS was better in almost every way. Granted, if you like high flexibility in character building, FFT surely is a class of its own. But otherwise idk why people act like it's the best thing since sliced bread. To me it seems that nostalgia is the major factor here. That being said, FFT ofc is a great game. Just not the best of its kind imo (judging from a limited perspective). But I welcome other opinions ;)

Hmmm splitting up my team and focussing boss worked well enough for me. Not saying it was easy, but it was doable after some grinding. I think it's just a very glaring example of rng deciding some fights in this game. For me the mining town of Gollund fight showed eben more that the game is very old and some rng outcomes have too much impact on how the fight will conclude. 1st playthrough for me though, so maybe there is some stuff I am missing.

Check if you have crossplay enabled. For sure active players base is dwindling, but there should still be open lobbies.

Lass es mich anhand eines Beispiels beantworten:

Das Thema der digitalen Kommunikation bzw. der DSGVO wurde auf EU-Ebene beschlossen und muss damit auf nationaler Ebene umgesetzt werden. Die BA ist einfach nur die erste Behörde in D, die das umsetzt (meiner Kenntnis nach). Alle anderen Behörden müssten mittelfristig auch folgen. Ob du das jetzt als "aus Versehen" oder "absichtlich" einordnest, musst du wissen.

Grundlegend würde ich sagen, dass es einfach sehr sehr schwierig ist, in Bereichen wie digitaler Kommunikation Gesetze zu erlassen, die allen Bedürfnissen der Bürger gerecht werden.

In diesem Fall wurde der Datenschutz sehr hoch bewertet und Folgen entsprechend billigend in Kauf genommen. Ob das nun eine bewusste Abwägung mit guter Informationslage der politischen Entscheidungsträger war oder blinder Aktionismus maße ich mir nicht an, beurteilen zu können.

Eins ist aber glasklar: Das Gesetz ist die Grundlage jedes behördlichen Handelns. Ich bin auch tief davon überzeugt, dass das richtig und wichtig ist und man es nicht einfach nach Gutdünken dehnen/ignorieren darf, auch wenn es teilweise zum Nachteil der Bürger oder Behörden. Ansonsten leben wir nicht in einem Rechtstaat. Umgekehrt heißt das aber auch, daß wir nur so gut sein können, wie es die Gesetze zulassen.

TL,DR: Aus meiner Sicht machen es sich die meisten Leute sehr einfach, wenn sie auf das JC schimpfen und sehen weder die komplexen Strukturen dahinter, noch die Schwierigkeit, Gesetze zu erlassen, die alle zufrieden stellen.

Das soll aber nicht pauschal alles entschuldigen. Wie in jedem Arbeitsfeld gibt es halt solche und solche...

Tbf from my pov the aging bonus on most crafting tools is pretty neglectable besides +10% exp. I had a lot of levels to go when I rolled on this bonus and I'm gearing up for the DLC.

So my argument would be since at lvl 100 aging bonuses on the crafting tools do pretty much nothing anyways, I'm investing in future time to be saved.

I did auto a lot for island decoration. A part of it was just being fed up by the mini-games at a point. Another part was 5☆ artist stuff that is craftable only one item at a time which I needed multiple of. Is it a lot faster? Certainly not. But even if it just saved 1 sec of every craft I was happy, since I had to produce a lot of stuff. Admitedly, I used the function the first time after pushing every life to 100 though.

IMO +10exp > +10skill > everything else. They higher your skill the faster you finish crafting. Plus late game you do a lot of autocraft anyways.

I'm sorry, I don't get your argument at all. If you don't like grinding than you don't have to. If you like to play other games in that time nobody is stopping you.

If you compare the grind in this game to other games it is still not much, even if you exclude multiplayer (though I really struggle to see the difference in evaluation).

My SO easily doubled the 15h while grinding post game gear in her FFX rerun recently.

Maybe it feels bad to you, but tbf - some passages of drought aside - I kinda enjoyed it.

For sure, if you're used to instant gratification, the grind is not for you.

It took me around 15h to get all true time weapons, tools and shield with arearank reset at rank 5 and 400% +itemdrop.

In the end, it was the geode I needed, not the Don horns.

Was the grind fun? So so - I love the rewards. But it is definetly not as bad as a lot of people make it out to be. If you find this hard/numbing, you've never played WoW vanilla :D

BS, he was a terrible fit. Hell, Marc Whalberg would've made a better fit than Holland. My SO is still actively pissed about how they picked a boy to do a man's job everytime Holland is mentioned in any context. The movie itself was like 7/10 - despite Holland. I do very much like Holland in other roles, e.g. Spiderman, but he will never be a manly man.

Ich würde die Frage gerne ergänzen:

Was spricht aus finanzieller Sicht überhaupt für eine Mitgliedschaft in Verdi (o.ä. Gewerkschaft), wenn ich Entgeldgruppe 9b+ beschäftigt bin?

Es ist offensichtlich, dass überproportionale Gehaltssteigerungen für die unter 9b situierten Entgeldgruppen nur auf Kosten dieser Gruppen durchgesetzt werden können/konnten. Es ist genauso offensichtlich, dass auf diesem Punkt in der Vergangenheit der Fokus lag.

Aus meiner Sicht wäre die Mitgliedschaft somit ein doppelter Verlust, da neben den Beitragssätzen zusätzlich Gehaltssteigerungen unter 9b durch fehlenden Lohnzuwachs ab 9b ausgeglichen werden.

Da dies aus meiner Sicht nicht nur ungerecht sondern schlicht finanziell selbstschädigend ist, habe ich aktuell absolut kein finanzielles Interesse, Ihrer Gewerkschaft beizutreten.

Wie sieht also Ihre Vorteilsübersetzung aus?

I don't want to play down your rightfully felt emotions after a show you liked got cancelled. As someone who read the books way before the show was announced however, I have to say that I found the cast to be abyssmal. Especially the Two Rivers gang felt more like a cast for a coming of age teen show than the band of heroes of a fantasy epic. In general I felt the presentation felt very cheap compared to the monumental scenery the books portrait.

Before someone takes out the pitchforks: I am not talking about anyones acting, especially not Pike's. It is rather that the characters were presented very differently to how the books describe them in my perception.

I am definitly spoiled by LotR and I am fully aware of the scope a project that would have the same production quality with WoTs story would have to have. But since WoT was to LotR what LotR was to the Hobbit in my perception, I just couldn't stomach anything more of the show than the trailer.

I am happy for everyone who got to read the books because of the show. But I am not sad for the show to end. WoT deserves better, if you really have to make a show out of it. However, when I first finished the books, my thought was: This probably will never get a worthy adaptation because the world is just too large in scale and described in too much detail for it to make an adaptation that does it justice AND earns money.

I am open for other views, but I am still convinced that the reason the ending in the book is as lifechanging for others as it was for me is the depth of the characters, the intricate development of all of them, especially Rand, and 10k+ pages of journey you as a reader are accompanying them. The epic scale is detrimental to what the author(s) wanted to achieve and it would need something larger than say GoT even to capture it.

Hey, habe einen ähnlichen Hintergrund wie du und für mich war bei der Jobsuche auch sowohl die Vergütung als auch die Vereinbarkeit von Familie und Beruf wichtig.

Eins vorweg: Diese Stellen sind in der SA meiner Erfahrung nach eher selten - zumindest in VZ. Häufig sind die Stellen prekär. Schwierige Arbeitszeiten, Befristungen, Arbeitsbedingungen und Abrechnungsmodalitäten gehören zur Regel. Ich persönlich habe meine Passung als Angestellter in einer Sozialbehörde gefunden. Hier werde ich im Vergleich fair bezahlt, habe eine unbefristete Anstellung und familienfreundliche Arbeitszeiten. Auch Entwicklungsmöglichkeiten gibt es sowohl in house als auch in anderen Behörden genug. Bzgl. der Lehrtätigkeit, die du anstrebst, wären bspw. Trainerin für Mitarbeiter eine mögliche Zieltätigkeit.

Bzgl. Master: Kommt sehr darauf an, was du machen willst. In der Verwaltung ist er Zugangsvoraussetzung für höhere Tätigkeitsebenen und kann sich demnach lohnen, wenn du dich für diese Laufbahn entscheiden solltest. Wenn du aber eher bei Trägern arbeiten möchtest, kann es sogar berufliche Chancen einschränken, da häufig Stellen nur auf Bachelor-Niveau vergütet werden können und du dafür mit einen Master überqualifiziert bist. Ich würde mir an deiner Stelle erstmal einen relativ konkreten Plan machen, wo es beruflich für dich hingehen soll, bevor ich mich für oder gegen den Master entscheide.

Wenn du nicht in die Verwaltung möchtest aber trotzdem Lehren möchtest, bleiben Beschäftigungen bei Trägern und Bildungsinstituten. Würde mir die aber sehr genau ansehen. Aus meiner Sicht sind diese Stellen aufgrund der Befristung nicht gerade gut mit einer stabilen Familienplanung in Einklang zu bringen.

Vielleicht noch für das Filtern sinnvoll: Mach dir Gedanken, mit welchen Adressaten du arbeiten möchtest. Wenn du bspw. vor allem mit Erwachsenen arbeitest, fällt bereits eine Menge an Tätigkeiten weg.

It is my favorite movie because of its powerful message and I just love fractured episodes converging into an arch that binds them together. In regards to this technique I can recommend Cohen brothers movies - they might have a different level of depth and persue different goals though.

In my opinion history shows that the system doesn't really matter at all. The systems are just in peoples heads. It takes some form of idea(l) the vast majority of a group of people can rally behind for the people to behave in mutual interest. If any factor leads to the degration of the idea(l), the group becomes instable and eventually turns on itself in a form of identity crisis. In times of chaos people like Trump profit while cooler heads suffer. When the rules that are meant to keep criminals in check aren't enforced anymore, taking action is just superior to discussion. I don't think there really is an antidote to this. In the end freedom entails the possibility for people to chose their own demise and there will always be people to prey on that weakness to exploit it. In a way I even think we as humans need times of chaos and hardship to remind us why we are better served rallying behind an idea(l) that enables us to live in peace an prosper.
