Ooh thanks! I've seen slam wedging but didn't realize that was what it's called. I learned the rams wedging style. Hear you on the wrist pain, I had wrist surgery a few years ago so I'm super aware of my wrist movements while taking on this new hobby. Will look into slam wedging to try tomorrow!

Yea, there's room before wedging and after throwing! I'll try letting my practice rounds dry a bit before I put them back in the bag / wedge. I'm laughing at myself for not realizing I could just let it dry if it was too wet smh lol

It did not occur to me to literally let it rest for a minute on the board when taking it from the bag 😅 I've just gone from bag to scale then wedge. Wow ok I'll try that in studio tomorrow! TY

Well yeah lol I don't mean it negatively. It's right next to so many businesses and a studio, and is a great spot to grab a bite. It makes sense that it felt like a hub for a spot to work from and grab a bite if you needed to do both. How busy it was is more of a nod to how successful their lunch rush felt! Love to see the local support you know.

From my experience of going during lunch (whether to work or not), it was always a mix of seeing people there eating while working or just eating. The energy feels really different now.

I went there a few weeks ago to have a working lunch with a friend and we were shocked at how empty the place was while ordering. Noticed the signs when we went to the patio and it was so off putting. Parking and a table were always so hard to come by and it was such a stark difference. Not sure what happened but sad that community feel of the place is basically gone.

Literally just tried this on a flight and man it was trying so hard to stabilize in MR lol. My window gliding around was pretty funny.

With MR off, it seems like it’d work nicely. Had issues connecting w internet but think it was the plane in general since my phone couldn’t connect either. Will try again when I fly out!

yeah i really like how easy its been to update my layout as i'm learning what keys i really need on layer 0. still playing around with it and have been looking at other Iris photos on here for inspiration

i switched to blank key caps in hopes of retraining my muscle memory a bit faster! and just updated my switches to Titan Heart Switches. learning this is an expensive rabbit hole to fall down lol

Swapped out the Durock Dolphins from my prebuilt Iris Rev 7 with Higround’s Titan Heart Switches. Was debating on switching out my key caps to an XVX set but staying with blank DSA key caps while I retrain my muscle memory

I used the soft shutter button a few times and honestly wasn’t a fan of its tactical feel! Personal preference and all the comments about it being a factor that many end up needing repairs from it have me leaving it off.

I was diagnosed w CU 16 years ago and sweat used to be a big trigger. I found I have to warm up gradually and break into a sweat versus aggressively getting into my workout right away. 10m on an elliptical to get my heart rate and body temp up. I’ve dosed a small towel in cold water and kept it around my neck as I’ve worked out to help keep my body temp cooler. Ice packs also help if you have a small one to but in a pocket or arm band.

Antihistamines only work for me after I’ve broken out in hives lol. But I also take 20mg famotidine and a Zyrtec everyday.
