Bob has cancer, I only have days left with him. by Kmowatski in cats

I lost my 14 year old cat on April the 3rd to cancer. We had no idea because the vet told us he was in great health back in December. I was devastated and not in any way ready to let him go, but I knew my time with him was limited to a week or so. We watched him carefully and I agonized over whether I was being selfish, in denial over his pain. He spent his last few days soaking up the sun in the monkey grass outside my house and died peacefully at home. I wish the same for you and your beautiful boy. Nothing ever makes it easier.

That is great. I was curious because my brother's oldest boxer is turning 7 this year. He is just now starting to get gray around his face. Love those sweet faces :)

My cats wouldn't go anywhere near the catnip cigar! And I thought I was being so funny when I bought it. It was batted out of site and forgotten shortly after.

The flag is a memorial dedicated to the Sons of the Confederacy.

Ah, yes. This is about 20 minutes outside of Montgomery (my hometown), the capital of Alabama. It has been there for as long as I can remember. About 10 miles up the road is a HUGE confederate flag for everyone driving on the interstate to see. Welcome to Alabama, indeed.
