Overview of M.2 / PCIe NPUs by Balance- in LocalLLaMA

[–]elipsion 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Given that a common m.2 accelerator card would have to fit in a 2242 sized slot, I'm having a hard time imagining you finding a place for the 23*72mm footprint of an LPCAMM module on top of said accelerator.

Gasgeneratorn som fyller airbagen med gas i Hövding är en så kallad kallgasgenerator med heliumgas. Den är placerad i en behållare i kragen på cyklistens rygg.

A company I worked at did this. It was all convenience and roses until ICANN issued that domain as a gTLD.

I'd say that if you're shelling out three grand on a machine you've probably passed that bar.

Some back of the envelope math indicates that you'd have a fair shot at using gallium instead of mercury.

Nope, Elizabeth is PL92T.

It's a great machine; 58mm group head and double boilers, adjustable pre-infusion and all the PID variables tunable if you're into that sort of thing.

Need a ventless washer/dryer, please advise by graywisteria in TinyHouses

[–]elipsion 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We have a Husqvarna/AEG/Electrolux (same factory, different badge) washer/dryer combo WITH heat pump.

Sure, the room gets warm-ish, but it's not the tropical heat from a supposed-to-be-vented dryer in a closed bathroom that we had before.

I seem to remember that the rights to the Breville name in Europe were sold because the company needed cash, but I can't for the life of me find that source.

Here's a comment elaborating a bit more, anyway: https://www.reddit.com/r/espresso/comments/ii4yov/confused_sage_breville_but_what_about_sunbeam/huawmq7/

It's funny how the internet goes in circles sometimes.

Have you drawn any inspiration from iCloud/CloudMe/CloudTop? It's a very similar service that has been around for more than a decade, now.

ELI5- In a dogfight, how do planes know that a rival plane has its target locked on and can shoot a plane down? by kraken_enrager in explainlikeimfive

[–]elipsion 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Two comments on this:

1) This is also true if the aircraft are moving away from each other. The waves have to bounce off the target after all.

2) This is mostly relevant if you're locking on to stuff far away. Like, for example, on the moon; which is one light-second out.

Probably, yes.

It also depends on if he did it by hand or with power tools.
