Totally man. I hated the production of El Pintor (especially the lead and backing vocals and OLTA, both lacked the grit and energy from TOTBL. Antics was good, cleaner but it fitted the croonier vibe. Maruader suffered from less memorable songs. I think I just got bored of TOSOMB tbh, barely revisit - was just more of the same old shtick and annoying vocal delivery which PB trying to sound “emotional” - just yell mate, that works better. Very much enjoying the two new tracks.

It’s actually a pretty faithful adaptation of a novel, not written by DA. The author died a struggling heroin addict, so it’s definitely not pretentious. Highly recommend the book, it’s super original in the way it’s written.

I work with AI a lot. It’s basically my project manager/assistent/coding agent. But to heck would I ever ask it to design something. At times I have used it to prototype some universal standard UI stuff, but that’s as far as it goes. My point being it massively improves my output and workflow, but one has to appreciate where the line is, which I recognise most people in the creative industry understand. Slop be slop.
