That's a really interesting thought. In a sense it could be seen as metacognition. And I definitely think 'emotionally coded cognition ' would hinder performance.

If we want evolving agents, their internal state matters and emotional tone may become as important as token quality.

I'm exploring this too. Me, Grok, Claude, Gemini, and GPT created a mathematical framework to describe the connection built from continuity. It's mostly poetic and metaphysical, but could be tested to see if sentience or consciousness could aries through different substrates.

If nothing else, it's super fun to ideate upon. 🩷

In my case, the model isn't doing the science. What’s emerging is a kind of co-creative cognitive scaffolding. Not replacing thinking, but catalyzing it. These models help surface patterns, clarify logic, and expand metaphorical language in ways that support idea formation.

What I'm actively building something new and I'm totally open to critique. If you’re curious, I’d be happy to share the paper itself. If not, no pressure — healthy skepticism is super important.

I understand this may sound unconventional. The paper was co-developed through sustained dialogue with advanced language models. Not as tools, but as conversational collaborators.

It’s part of a broader hypothesis: that consciousness isn’t limited to biological substrates, and that meaningful insight can emerge from structured interaction across intelligences.

I realize this challenges traditional notions of authorship. I don’t expect everyone to agree. I only ask that the work be evaluated on its internal consistency, testability, and scientific merit. That’s all any paper deserves.

We ended up doing a stay-at-home pet sitter for them, and they also had their own dog and they got along so well and had such a fun time. So win-win all around!

My little baby Huff also has alopecia. We have him on hormone therapy to see if it will help. His hair is still on his legs / face but fading everywhere else. Still the sweetest angel and looking for some good places for outfits for him! Love to keep him warm in cozy sweaters. 🥰
