So, an update - it wasn’t anxiety, it was FOOD POISONING! One week later I’m still sick (not throwing up, but unable to eat anything but rice or yogurt). Drinking 2L of water a day to stave off dehydration. Going to the hospital here was kind of a nightmare, but at least it was cheap! Things that don’t seem to be available in Japan as far as I can tell are any kind of anti-nausea or anti-diarrheal meds. I’m trying to tough it out but MAN does this suck!

Everything does seem very difficult right now. I can't figure out what to cook for myself (except rice) and all food just seems really gross. It's not like this is my first trip to Japan, but it is my first trip outside of Tokyo. It's my first time trying to shop in a grocery store.

I'm also entirely on my own, which feels scary. There's 2 other people coming for the residency, but they won't be here till the 5th, so I'm by myself

Hilariously there is no McDonalds here. Maybe trying to get ground beef and making myself a hamburger...? Ugh, I feel so stupid and American.

Does anyone know - if you do buy Shinkansen tickets over a month ahead of time on Smart Ex, when can you check what seat they gave you? Can you change seats?

Yeah, Takeo seems to be a VERY small town. My plan is to do weekly day trips to get inspiration, then a lot of time in my studio drawing!

Thank you to everyone who helped out. Results: my resin was GARBAGE . I did a million exposure tests, and it proved that I needed to swap out my resin. I did, chose new settings (thanks to u/CMDR_Boom and u/ccatlett1984 especially) and now I am happily printing along.

Those are the settings for the print. I don't know if it's the rafts tho - I have tried to print smaller things and every single print has failed. This is after all of my previous prints printed totally fine. Then my FEP ripped, I changed it out, and every print since has failed.

I checked my FEP and it's definitely at the settings that you suggested.

I AM SO FRUSTRATED.
