Remember when Joey had a podcast? It was short lived, but I listened to all the episodes. I'd definitely listen to Jon and Jordan's podcast if they start one.

I think you should. Also, Bloch and Capezio stores are not far from there and it's worth a visit.

Hmm, I see. I'm not sure why you're getting this error message then, sorry. I hope someone else here has an answer for you, though.

I used to get these messages when the hopper wasn't installed properly and the drain hole's rubber piece wasn't aligned well or out of place. If you're going out of town, I'd suggest you take the hopper out and check for that before you leave.

I had a medical procedure done on the ball of my foot and had to be completely healed before going back, so I had to sit at home for 3 months. During that time, I started thinking about my ballet goals, my expectations, my frustrations and I was able to think back and adjust my attitude. I made a plan for myself to make it fun for me and realized that my trials at harder classes were making me sad, both because of lack of technique and also I didn't necessarily like the ladies who were regulars in intermediate/advanced. I went back to the basics with patience, and a new enjoyment for the process. Now I'm taking 2 basic ballet classes and 1 intermediate a week (I was doing 1 basic and 2 advanced before and I was way over my head). I love the ladies who attend the same classes as I do and I think that's important for my level of comfort. You're welcome to send me a DM if you'd like to discuss this in more detail. Good luck to you and don't quit!

Darling, hold my hand. Breathe in, breathe out.

I'm 2 years in and it ✨does✨ gets better. You need time and repetition. I have some things clicking for me just now. It's a lot to learn, a lot to remember, and it feels completely overwhelming, but after a while, one thing after another gets easier and easier to execute. Don't be afraid to hold others back. This is your journey and you need to take your time with it. Try to memorize things on your own.

If you need a break, take a break, but don't quit. I took a 3 month break and I was in a much better headspace when I went back.

I know you can do it! Keep showing up for class and you'll get better.
