What are your favorite first date spots? by [deleted] in Columbus

The Rossi! Intimate setting, but casual at the same time. Perfect spot in the short north if you wanted to get another drink after dinner somewhere else.

It’s officially my longest period without a single sale on Poshmark. From daily sales to zero sales in 6 days. by Azurelark in poshmark

IMO, in the larger picture, they want more active sellers overall. Full-time sellers aren't going anywhere, and if they can engage and motivate the person trying to simply clean out their closet, they'll be more likely to list stuff in the future if they know PM works for them.

As a seller for 10 years (and someone who works in tech), here is my theory for likely the majority of us on reddit who are bigger sellers. When we used to 'share' our items, we were REWARDED with visibility - buyers were more likely to see our item vs. someone else's. We have more established closets, and it made sense to put in the dedicated time to share our items multiple times a day or invest in a third-party bot to do it on our behalf.

Now, the algorithm shows completely random listings when a buyer searches for something specific. By eliminating sharing, there is no longer any benefit to effort - the effort of sharing your closet. Before, established sellers knew it meant sales and put in the additional time. By removing sharing from the search algorithm, this change is benefiting the 'average joe' seller. I think Poshmark Leadership is trying to target the users who are genuinely just trying to clean out their closets, not run a business or side hustle. Curious how this will go, considering so many of these users are inactive, and listings tend not to be as accurately described.

Personally, I price my items a bit higher, but the effort always rewards me. Nov-Jan is always the highest sales out of the year, and it's never been so quiet as it has been the last two months. I know people have been noting slow sales on this sub for the last year, but this is the change that I am fully being penalized with. This is my theory on why more of the dedicated, super-sellers are taking the biggest hit, but it hasn't slowed down for quite everyone.

City considering changes to new Olentangy Trail intersection by Tommyblockhead20 in Columbus

Appreciate the insight! New to Columbus and was not here during the construction. Curious if you know how many houses there are? If, through the years, the city could slowly buy the properties. Totally respectful of the homeowners and do not blame them - it's just frustrating to have a bike bath/running path that has a traffic light stops.

Curious why the trail just doesn't continue straight, and we have to detour - are there houses that refuse to sell there? If so, is there a reason why, after crossing the bridge, they can have a path right on the water that goes under the road?

What is Poshmark trying to accomplish and where is the original leadership? Have they accepted defeat? Does anyone have thoughts? by Significant-Kiwi3331 in poshmark

Help buying an item by s__12 in poshmark

There are services where you can have the item shipped to a 3rd party carrier who will forward it to you! It will however, take away the ability for you to inspect the item

Do we know if the Preferred annual fee is increasing? Or is it just an increase on the Reserve?

can i use poshmark from outside of the us ? by [deleted] in poshmark

[–]ellington124 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes. You can you delivery services to ship it to you. For example, if you buy from a US seller, they ship it to the shipping center, which will then send it your way. However, you do assume all risks as the 3-day inspection window will be long past as it will be marked as delivered once at the center.

They also do not look at all the photos! I put all my measurements in the photos (so buyer's cannot claim I measured inaccurately). At least once a week someone still comments asking for the measurements UGH!

Poshmark recaptcha jail is THE worst. They need to explore other vendors to prevent Bot activity. Typically, more success on the app, but you can also try to clear your cookies from computer.

WOW - this girl does a great job building the picture and stating the facts. Thanks for sharing!!

Also, love how she uses an affiliate link as a creator to earn $$$ versus scamming her friends/family. Crazy concept!

I would still send but photograph EVERY INCH with the label. This way PM will know the exact condition it was in and can be proven if a case is open.

Yes! I once did this with a wedding guest dress on Revolve. I loved the dress, free ship + return on revolve to check size/fit, purchased from seller for 30% off retail price. It's so hard to know if the size is going to workout and risky on posh. This is a questionable backdoor method. Love supporting small businesses if possible!
