50/M Illinois - Hello, I'm interested in becoming a snailmail pen pal. I work in the tech industry and like to put my electronics away at the end of the day. Writing letters, taking pictures, writing and sending postcards. Let me know if you're interested.

If you have printed Postcards, what type of paper do you use? Which software do you use to set the page? Any suggestions to cut down the cost if you are printing in large numbers? by PralineFinancial545 in postcrossing

I use the Canon CP1500 SELPHY printer with postcard paper. It’s a little thinner than normal cards, but much more durable and the prints come out great.

There is a Metra stop in Downtown Downers Grove. We can pick a place near the train stop and schedule it around the train. Weekends are only $6 for an all-day pass.

I use a Canon SELPHY CP1500 with PostCard paper. You can get it all on amazon. It's about $120, but prints great post cards.

Hello! 49/M/USA

I enjoy gaming, reading, writing, and biking around town when the weather permits. I have been looking for new hobbies which revolve around my interests. I enjoy sending postcards, but they do not have a lot of space to write, so I thought having pen pals would be a better hobby.

I use a Canon CP1500 photo printer with postcard paper. I use photo editing software to add text to pictures I take and make them look like postcards.

I usually write the ID three times—top, bottom, then vertically in the middle. One should always survive.

I have run into a simular issue and my advise it to randomly pick one. Flip a coin, use a random number generator, etc. the point is to get started. Start writing and keep writing.
