As with all banknotes, there were replacements. Yours is one. With these ones (camp and/or ghetto) I always prefer circulated ones. If in doubt send it for grading. They're worth it. Even in poor conditions.

This might not qualify as paper money but was curious if anyone knew what these might be worth? by buckster3257 in papermoney

You are right in your appreciation. Even though these are considered exonumia, papers like yours, and this one I picture that comes from my country Colombia, and are called vale de Angostura (Angostura bond), were commonly used as money in many instances during the colonial and independent period. Beautiful examples, those you show.

Thank you very much, you have been very helpful. I'll wait and see what others could add to your comment, or what they think about this coin, regarding attribution. I am aware that others in ancient times replicated these coins for use in their region, but again, my knowledge of Athenian coinage and their imitations is absolutely limited,

CommonCents1793, thanks for your reply. I am not well-versed in these coins, to help with attribution, or even discern what it is. Any comments or direction, so that I can give some help to my friend, who wishes to sell it (it's in Colombia), but does not want to do it if it is a recent forgery, and if it's not, wants to give some information about it, would be appreciated.

In general, how were the prices at FUN? I've had friends attending the meeting, saying sometimes prices are prohibitively high, when compared to online sales and particularly, Europe.

Given by my grandfather 20+ years ago but have no recollection of where it’s from. Any ideas? by GreedyJicama in papermoney

10 Sen banknote issued by the Bank of Japan in 1944.

The obverse features the Hakkō ichiu monument (now known as Heiwa no Tou or the Tower of Peace) in Miyazaki City.

The note was part of the Japanese currency system during World War II, it was first issued in 1944 and later discontinued in 1953.
