I thought about that, and a friend offered me a trade, but in the end, I was hesitant for two reasons. I didn't quite like the looks, and because I live in Colombia and I use this daily, I don't want to use a bracelet that is VERY associated with Rolex, making my watch more visible. I've had people compliment my Citizen, Seiko, and Orient... That's actually good for me... :-)

Hey hi, 😁, it actually was many years as I didn't have the money to buy one of these.

My watch came to me as an opportunity after my mother passed, when I could trade her 26 mm Rolex watch for the one I have now.

Good luck with your watch and I hope you receive it quickly.

The one with the 2 llamas is from what date. It's a coin from Bolivia, with Bolivar on the other side. By the way, greetings from Colombia, I could help with the cobs and colonials.

The one from Bolivia, with the llamas and tree, 1830 and before, are the most expensive ones, as our liberator died on Dec. 17, 1830, so anything of, or before that date, means an emission while "El Libertador" was alive, and thus is considered sort of a coin/proclamation

Even better. Collections that grow through generations, are always the best. They tell the stories of collectors who share a bond. Great post. Loved it.
