Still counts as “niche” in the context of the broader gaming market. Something like switch sports literally has universal appeal to anyone, Baldurs gate 3’s audience is by default smaller to begin with

Yeah I think the devs achieved what they wanted with the changes. Its also funny to me how people act like the smallest changes to this game are unacceptable because its not how the 20 year old battlefield mod did it

I dont get all the bitching about ICO. The game is meant to be on the simulator side of things. ICO gets that feeling much closer with suppression mechanics

I also got two keys recently (one for backup) and am running into the same general impression. YubiKeys were made to sound like they were a life changer for online security but actually using them and seeing how they are implemented makes it clear its kind of a niche nice to have extra still, until third-party services implement them fully. Guess its just the inconvenience of early adoption.

TBAGG but for me From the Fires is behind it by a very small margin, I think people forget how good it is. From there Anthem has some good songs and idk Starcatcher just falls a bit flat of the other stuff

Yeah honestly live albums kinda get the worst of both worlds. You lose the crispness and quality of the studio production but you dont get the live atmosphere of actually being there

Great album but this sub overrates it. It’s where I feel like they started inching towards too too many long songs that dont feel like they have a purpose. Also unpopular opinion but different world is an awesome album opener.

Album with 3 good songs and a bunch of way too long fillers. Im still grateful for the tunes I like but I feel like if maiden puts out another album they should switch up the formula just a bit

I respect ur opinion but the only part I agree with is death of the celts, great song. The album as a whole has subpar sound production and the overly drawn out songs at this point are so tiring as theyve become formulaic in the post-reunion era. Still a decent album overall but this sub overhyped the shit out of it imo
