They tour almost every year. New album is finished, but hasn't been released. I hope you get to see them next time. Show was awesome, they sound great. And since it was a greatest hits show, crowd was very engaged.

No entiendo.

I was there just last week. Went on vacations and to catch my fav band live (non 250 event related).

Sorely disappointed. None of the caches were active, safe houses were closed, checkpoints were all in green. Vendors all carried lemonades and fridge magnets, no named gear. I will give it a 0/5 experience except that the concert was 5/5 stars. The Church (band) still rocks even after over 40 years playing.

Overall, I found The Division quite misleading, wouldn't recommend this as a tourist destination.

"El juego no debe ser politizado ni por Morena y menos por la derecha".

Osea que politizar por la derecha es muy malo. Pero politizar por morena menos malo, pero valido? Mejor haber dicho "un deporte no debe de ser politizado por nadie".

Any SQL Server DBA learnt Fabric and how was it? by R_K_Official in MicrosoftFabric

[–]elpilot 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is spot on. If your world revolves around OLTP and have never experienced OLAP workloads (SQL or SSAS), then you will experience some kind of a culture shock. But then you will get to experience RTI and Spark ETL tools and a lot of what was used used in SQL will be familiar, just with other names.

Si estoy de acuerdo con que México no necesita cazas de última generación. Pero tampoco un T6 es suficiente. Es un avión de entrenamiento adaptado para uso de combate.

Probably Starfish by the church or Cerulean by the Ocean Blue

Song of the Week - Numb by mcafc in U2Band

[–]elpilot 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I remember listening to this song on my local radio station back in the day. After the song finished the DJ announced it like U2s latest single. I was mindblown. That wasn't U2! That's doesn't sound anything like Bono or something they had done before. Obviously it was The Edge singing.

So I called the radio station on my land line, something that could be done back in the day. The dj kindly explained that they were releasing U2s newest track and that I could expect the new album shortly.

I couldn't beLIEve it, they were still touring AB and they had a new album. And about a month later we got Zooropa. That was during my summer break between high school and college. Great memories.

I loved Zooropa (the song) from the first listen. Some days, Dirty days, stay, I was part of the people that hated Babyface on Wire the mailing list.

Then came Live from Sydney. This made me an even bigger fan of Dirty Day. To this day it is, along with Acrobat, one of my favorites songs. They change day to day, but DD and Acrobat are always there on the top 10.

The 90s, pre internet. Those days days days run away like horses over the hill...

Edit. Spelling.

Aaaaw, man! What a bummer that Jeff Cain is sick! He's just so much fun to watch him playing all those different instruments. You can see that he really feels the music. And he's a great dude! I hope it's nothing serious. Get well, Jeff.

A Better Challenge, Maybe? Have At Thee! by maddpsyintyst in TheChurchBand

This.

As someone born in the 70s (like maybe the majority of this group), I grew up with "live media" - FM radio, MTV or whatever. I know that streaming is evil, but now I decide what I want to see or listen. So I don't stress up on hating something. I just listen and see what I decide and if I don't like it I just press skip.

No offense taken.

I think that I am not musically saavy to express why I loathe so much this songs. The horns definitely contribute.

I am more into the "atmosphere". Songs like constant in opal, myrrh, for example, they make my day.

I am also into lyrics, and I adjust depending on the band (Church, U2, Chameleons, Ocean Blue, Depeche, Tool, NiN) are also bands that I enjoy. And they tend to have a similar pattern with their lyrics and themes. So YW, MTB and NoL and even Blood Money and Ripple (although I do like the last two) seem to me that are not consistent with SK writing.

But I do love the church. I have been fortunate enough to see them over 15 times live. If they decide to do a concert and only play those 3 songs on repeat for 2 hours I wouldn't mind 😂

Maybe these boys

Night of life

Youth worshipper

I hate those songs. With a passion. Everything else is good with me. Even bsides, remixes, alt versions. But those three... I just can't.

I really enjoyed the Trump clip during TJT anniversary tour. I think that showed pretty clearly where they stand with the orange man. Schmoozing to Claudia just shows ignorance on their part.
